Hi all. Monday is here already. Hope everyone's weekend went well. I spent all weekend sore and in bed. My butt is hurting from all the sitting. I can't lay down so I gotta sit up. I don't know which one is hurting worse, my boobs or butt! I am feeling alot better, just sore but I can tell a difference. I have my next docs appt. Thursday, so hopefully all will be good. Since I can't work out for about 4-6 weeks, I really gotta keep an eye on what's going into my mouth. I wanna lose some weight or stay the same. It's too easy to gain when I'm not in motion. Anyway, how was your day and whatcha eatin??? B- WW waffle w/lite margarine, 1 tsp syrup, 1/4c. LF cottage cheese, 1/2c. mandarin oranges S- protein coffee S- protein shake..tastes just like cho**** cream! L- 1c. chicken noodle soup, 5 saltines D- I have a taste for salad and probably some leftover chicken from dinner last nite April

Just would like to change my menu a little: For dinner I had 1/2 of a roast beef hoagie w/pickles, lettuce, and peppers and about 1/4c. okra & tomatoes. I'm stuffed now so hopefully that's it! If not, I'll make some protein hot chocolate later

Hi April! Nice to see that you're feeling better... looking forward to some pics! Okay... there's a reason that I've never posted my "What'cha eating" info before... and you're all about to find out why. Thanks to the amount of training that I do, I need to take in MORE THAN 3200 Calories a day just to maintain. Some heavy workout days I'll top 4000 Calories. It's almost embarrassing! Today was a typical day of eating for me.... Here Goes: Pre-Workout: Clif Bar & Coffee Breakfast: 2 Servings of Oatmeal with Whey protein powder and High Fiber Cereal Morning Snack: Another Clif Bar & Coffee Lunch #1: Reduced Fat Peanut Butter & No Sugar Jam on High Fiber Bread Lunch #2: Fat Free Cottage Cheese with Light & Fit Yogurt & High Fiber Cereal Afternoon Snack: Protein Plus Power Bar & Coffee Dinner: Quesedilla with Egg Beaters, Cheese and Lean Ham on Low Carb Tortilla Evening Snack: 2 Servings of 2% Fage Yogurt with SF/FF Pudding Mix I Know, I Know... sickening, right? I didn't eat this often when I was over 400lbs! Be Well, A.J.

Thanks for sharing, AJ!! I know when I do hardcore workouts I usually have a higher caloric intake as well. The difference is...you eat all good calories!!! Me...not so much. Hmm...quesadillas sound good! April

Hey Girl!! Glad to hear you are feeling better and on the mend. Try sleeping/sitting at an angle, that relieves some of the butt soreness. This was the first weekend I really felt normal and could move about without limitations. It felt good, today is 5 weeks post op. I posted in my profile a picture of me in my jeans....I look at that tummy and am still shocked that it is me! We'll have to support each other as we go thru our exercise sabbatical. Anyway, here's my menu: not hungry this morning, skipped breakfast which is not like me a bean dish I got from the deli (about 1/2 cup) and a good pinch of shredded LF cheese. whey shake with soy milk White beans with some shredded veggies, 1/3 turkey/spinich sausage Dinner: dunno. I have an eggplant parm in the fridge, very little cheese. Feeling vegetarian today.....may have another whey shake. Hugs, Tiff

I stand by the Jay Robb protein whey powder, it dissolves in anything and tastes yummy.

The protein powder I use now is called 100% Whey by Optimum Nutrition. I always find it at Vitamin Shoppe. It's the best powder I've tasted. I have the Rocky Road which is really good, and yesterday I had the Vanilla Ice Cream flavor (tastes just like ice cream!!) but I added a little bit of SF choc syrup with ice cold milk. I'm telling you...it taste just like cho**** cream! April
