Just wondering how everyone is doing with the Halloween candy this year. I dont feel attracted to it and find strength in that. The candy I bought to hand out tomorrow is all stuff I dont like and is too high in sugar to even contemplate. Has it been calling out to you? What have you eaten? Although. One small bag of tootsie rolls jumped into my cart last week. I swear, suddenly it was there. Over the course of the week I ate the entire bag, I definately felt an attraction here! It came to 1400 calories, albeit over 6 days but still, it's 1400 calories I did not need. So that's my confession. How about you?????? ~Tiff

Hey Tiff!!! Thanks God we do not celebrate Halloween!!! (Well not in the same amount as US. It is an american tradition!!!)... We have the Death celebration here which is a huge event in which all the people go to the cementery to visit their relatives that has gone... You know? I understand that necessity for certain kind of food that you just can't resist to... What it has been of help for me is to stay away of them... I LOVE cookies, icecream and stuff like that... they are trigger food for me... if I taste them I will not stop eating it until the dumping is hard and bad... So, I do not taste them not even sugar free... it was hard (or is some times), but I find it easier to control without the triggering... Best Regards Alejandro from Guadalajara Mexico

It is soooo true, one little bite can trigger an avalanche. I also avoid the SF stuff as it tastes horrible to me and in my opinion, is just replacing a problem with something to hide the symptoms of why one eats that stuff to begin with. I've never eaten to dumping or getting ill, I am too afraid of that and want to maintain my respect of not going there.....

Good point, who needs Halloween to enjoy candy!! I was in the store the other day just amazed that they had 4 full rows dedicated to candy. OMG. And in 2 days it will all be on clearance for the Christmas stuff. Those Payday's had better be gone......candy that has protein - YUM! Congrats on your strength to resist the bowl of treats.... Have a great day, Tiff

I bought two huge bags of candy for halloween.. one is just tootsie rolls and the other is mixed bag of little candy bars and m&ms... I won't open the bags until Wed. night and try to give it all away then! I'm sure I'll have some between treaters though. hugs, Anna
