Hi Dawn I did this a few weeks ago and thought it was supposed to help me lose weigh or jump start my weight loss again. Anyway the actually reason to do this test is if you think your pouch is not working correctly. For me I realized it wasn't my pouch but what I was putting in my mouth. I followed this to a T and lost a couple pounds but they are back. Good luck if you do decide to do it. Hugs, Chris

I was sort of under the impression that it will help shrink your pouch too. Hmm. I found out about it on the WLS Graduates board and some of them raved about it. I figure if nothing else it will get my back on track and help my carb cravings...they are going to be the death of me!!! Dawn

I thought the same thing about shrinking my pouch but it didn't work that way for me. Several of us here did this a few weeks ago, I think it was Ronna, JenJen and maybe Jaci? Not sure but I thought the consensus was not good. I did not cheaton this at all but found better success from the Platuea buster. Again good luck! Hugs, Chris

After downing an ENTIRE everything bagel with regular cream cheese I will try ANYTHING at this point. (granted...it took an hour to do but I ate it all!!!) I'm just sick of every night saying "Tomorrow I am eating right", then tomorrow comes and I eat something bad and think "Well today's screwed; might as well go out with a bang and start tomorrow." I DO THAT EVERY DAY!!! I hate it...I really fear that I could gain back the weight I lost. Not sure if you saw my other post but I know that 8 pounds in a year is not the end of the world BUT if I allow that EVERY year think of where I will be 10 years from now!!!! I can't let that happen! *hugs* Dawn

Ok you made me go back and look at October 06 and I weighed 154, today I weigh 147 so I guess I should not be SO upset with that except....I weighed 134 in March so now I am up 13 pounds from my lowest but 22 from my personal goal. We can do this I know! I too do what you do as far as eating something bad and then saying tomorrow I will start, but here it is *tomorrow and I want something not good for me. :=( I will definately try to stay away from the bad stuff but it is not so easy. I did enjoy the liquid part of the 5 day pouch test! Perhaps I will do a couple of das of liquids (protein and water)....You need to believein yourself. You will not gain it all back, you worked to hard to come this far! Hugs, Chris
