You know? there are days (like today for example), that it seems like anything goes the right way. Everything seems to go against you and no matter how hard you work to change things the awful truth is that every thing goes wrong. Well, I decided not to give up. I feel down and sad. But I will fight my battle as hard as I can. I will succeed. I have a lot of things to be happy for. Some times it seems like my life has no motivation. That is the reason I would like to share and repost this tale with the hope you will like it. It is translated by me, so, I apologize for the mistakes I am sure it has. P.S.: I feel down due to the fact that one of the bigest businesses I was expecting, failed. So, my hopes to offer my family a better life have gone once again. Objectively talking it is something that you alwsys expect to happen, nothing is lost (but time and effort), I have to walk further to new businesses. Have a Beautiful day... Alejandro from Guadalajara Mexico THE ROCK A man was sleeping in his hut when suddenly a light illuminated the Room and God appeared before him... The Lord said that He had a task for him, and He showed the man a big rock Just in front of the hut. The Lord explained to the man that his task was to push the Rock with all his might... The man did exactly what the Lord asked him to do, day after day. For long years, since the sunrise to the sunset, the man pushed the cold rock with all his might... And the rock never moved... Every night the man returned to his cabin very tired and feeling that All his endeavors were in vain. As the man started to feel frustrated, Satan decided to come and play his own game, carrying these thoughts to the man's mind: "You have pushed that rock for long time", and gave to the man the impression that the commended task was pointless and impossible to do...These thoughts brought to the man frustration and disillusionment. Satan said: "Why to strain so hard all day every day doing this impossible task? Just do the minimum effort and that will be enough...." The man thought to do exactly that... but before doing it he decided to pray and confess to the Lord his feelings: "Oh Lord, I have worked hard for long time at your service. I have applied all my strength to achieve what you asked me to do, but although all my endeavors I haven't moved the rock at all..." What is happening? Why have I failed? The Lord answered him with compassion: "My son, when I asked you to serve me, and you accepted, I told you that your task was to push the rock with all your might, and you have done it. I never told you that I expected you to move the rock. Now you come to me without strength to tell me that you have failed, but, did you really fail? Look at you, your arms are strong, your back is big and muscular, your hands are callous and ready for any other task, you legs are tough and strong too... Although all the adversity you have grown up so much... and your skills are now increased and better than before... It's true, you haven't moved the rock, but your mission was to be obedient and push the rock to make your Faith stronger not just your body. And that, my son, is what you have accomplished. Now I shall move the rock for you" Some times, when we hear the Lord's word, we try to use our intellect to decipher His will, when the reality is that God is just asking us obedience and faith. We must exercise our faith that moves mountains, but being aware that God is the one who moves them for us... When everything seems going wrong.... Just PUSH! When you are exhausted because of the hard job.... Just Push! When people do not behave in the way you think they should... Just Push! When you have no money to pay your debts... Just Push! When people just do not understand you... Just Push! When you are down, exhausted and with no strength to keep going... Just Push! There are rocks impossible to move. Perhaps that is our task, our mission. I am sending you a strong embrace and my pray for you to never get tired of pushing your own rock.

Hi Chris!!! As an american saying states: Sh*t Happens!!! It is only a matter of keep moving!!!... To stop in the road really makes you to have a delay in your trip... you have to go on and on... I will move to aim to another challenges... this misfortune only was a rock in my way that made me felt down in the road but I am back and walking with a scratch in my knees... This wat nothing too big to stay there and whine on it... yes it is painfull indeed... but what the heck!!!... With the love of God, the Blessing of Jesus and the protection of His Holly Mother there is a road there that is driving me to a better place!!! (Sorry I am Catholic and I just couldn't stop and include Her in my Blessings...) What is really important in my life is fine and with me... the love of JESUS, the support of my family, certainly a lot of health, a little bit of knowllege and higher wisdom... lol Hugs!!!
