RYP-Day 1-Melissa
I have decided to do it. I GOTTA do it. Its driving me insane. I have come tooooo far to go back up again. My highest weight was 341lbs that was when my daughter was born. Jan 2005.

I went up to 210 April 16 2007, day of my Tummy Tuck. They cut off 10.9lbs off.
2 Weeks after I was at 201.5. OMG almost under 200lbs. I had not been there in like almost 20 yrs, really. I was so proud of myself.
I SLACKED so much, I have no-one to blame really but myself. I slacked on walking, ate in the middle of the night. Was out of control. Now this morning I was at 228.5. I have gained 27lbs since my tummy tuck. I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT.
So I am willing to give this RYP a try. So far its been really really HARD. I am so hungry. My biggest problem is chewing I wanna chew, I have gum of course.
Breakfast -Muscle Milk Light-Chocolate Mint-20gm protein, 150 cal and 8gms of carbs.
8 oz of water
Snacks-Sort of-2 cups of decaf coffee with light soy milk(for cream) with splenda to sweeten
2 cups of Beef broth-HAD TO HAVE SOME SALT
Lunch-Muscle Milk Light-Chocolate Mint-20gm protein, 150 cal and 8gms of carbs.
8 oz of water
Snacks-2 cups of Beef broth-HAD TO HAVE SOME SALT again
Special K-Protein water-16 oz
Dinner-16 oz of 8th continent-Light vanilla Soy Milk.
Snacks-2 cups of Beef broth-HAD TO HAVE SOME SALT again
Plus I have walked around my office building once and walked 1 1/2 miles around my complex and will try and walk again tonight.

Melissa, you made it past day 1!!!! That's major! I tip my hat to you because I'm honestly scared to do the RYP. For one, I'm afraid that I'll cheat, secondly I'm afraid that once I lose the weight I'll gain some of it back...what's the point! Those are my fears. Good luck to you on at least giving it a try!

Well its going. I did not do the RYP exactly. I modified it somewhat. I went to www.fitday.com and have been tracking my calories really well and also joined a gym. So far since Monday I have lost 4 lbs. I walk 1 1/2 miles at work everyday and 2.25 miles at the gym on the treadmill and doing cardio and toning. Tues, Thur and Sundays now. So I can do it if I work hard. I have come to far to fail now. I just had to get my butt back in gear. Thanks for checking in on me. That means alot to me. I will keep everyone informed.
