Yellowstone 2007!

Hello board. My hubby and I needed a get away just for the two of us as we have been very busy with travel related to family functions this summer. We vacationed this last weekend in Yellowstone National Park. We booked just about four weeks ago so we had to stay in a differnt place each night. That turned out to be the BEST! We saw so much of the park. A tour of the "Ring of Fire", all the volcanic activity areas by a big yellow bus. A tour of Yellowstone Lake on a cruise boat. Alone in the car at our own pace. The sights are wonderful. Every place we stayed was clean and the sheets were great! No tv. Air conditioning is a fan and an open window. Heat is an extra blanket. In Mammoth we paid extra to have a room with a private bath! It was a must for me. The wildlife was fantastic! We saw bison, elk, coyote, mountian sheep, geese, chipmonks and many birds. No bears or moose this time. It was just what we needed and I would reccomend the park to everyone! Teresa

Sounds like a great time. How kid friendly were the accomodations? We are starting to plan a vacation for 2008 and want to go to a "destination." We usually go to PA to visit friends and family. We spend a few thousand dollars and do not do much except visit. So next year we are going somewhere to do something ... Your links to photobucket do not work. God Bless! Jen
