Disneyland 1/2 Marathon

Wow, I'm truly feeling blessed to be post op WLS!!! Jesse and I finished the Disneyland 1/2 marathon in 3:13:46!!! 13.1 miles in three hours 16 minutes!!! WHOOT WHOOT! Sore knees and all, both of us were limping a bit near the end but knowing we were so close to the finish line we caught a burst of energy and finished better than the 3 1/2 hours I orignally thought it would take us! Jesse didn't even thing he could finish at one point and told me to go ahead, imagine my suprise when he caught up to me! It was hot and crowded but running thru Anaheim and both the Parks was definately worth it. Oh yeah and to tell people that I completed my first 1/2 is worth it too!!! We DEFINATELY will be doing it again. Hope you all had a great weekend!!!
