Happy Labor Day!!!

Good Morning Happy Labor Day I hope everyone had a peaceful weekend! So what's everybody got going on today? Any big picnic plans or are you staying home relaxing? You cooking anything special?? If so, share! I have to work today but I don't go in til 3:00 so I have a little time to spend with my family. Friends and family are coming over for a bbq! Yesterday morning when my mom told me what she wanted to cook, I ate light for the rest of the day so I could enjoy everything today. lol We are having bbq ribs, chicken, potato salad, deviled eggs, baked beans, corn on the cob and broccoli salad. Yummy!! My sister n law is bringing something sweet but I'm passing on that! I ate enough chocolate at my dad's birthday party! Have a great day Kay

Hi Kay, Happy Labor Day to you. Earlier in the week a woman I work with explained to a british colleague that today is all about women and the pains of delivering children. We all sat there and were too shocked by her story to correct her - it was clear that this was her understanding of this holiday. So here's to all the people that have worked hard to build America. Your mom's menu sounds yummy - what time did you say the party starts? You're in a good place having been able to enjoy a little bit of chocolate and then say enough. We are celebrating my mother's bday today and all going out to lunch at a nice restaurant along a lake. It's another beautiful day. I've had another uptick in interested men so I may go on a date tonite. Or I may go back to the basement and get ready for the mold treatment I have to organize tomorrow. Sigh. Yesterday I drove the 3 hours to and from Madison for another party and to see a good friend/mentor/colleague who asked me about working on her consulting team. She also struggles with weight issues and after seeing my article, she is considering WLS. I hope it is the choice for her. May your day be relaxing and full of good spirits and sunshine.... ~Tiffany
