Happy Saturday

Hello ladies Just wanted to say hi to see who's lurking around today. Whatcha got going on?? Menu discussion is out of the question because I'd be ashamed to say what I have eaten already today. Saturdays are my "day off " so whatever! Well today Kristina and I went shopping at walmart for my dad's birthday then I had to go buy new sneakers. Mine were too big. I cant believe I bought size 8 1/2. Before surgery, I was buying size 11!!! Crazy huh? Now I'm home making chocolate cake with chocolate icing topped with chocolate chips for my dad. He loves chocolate so this is how Kristina wanted to do it! I cant wait to have a peice of that!! We are also having taco salad and hot wings. Later tonight me my "new friend" are going out dancing!! I gotta dance off that cake I'm gonna eat!! That's it for me.. I'm just enjoying life. Oh, I forgot.. I bought a car the other day 2004 Pontiac sunfire! I have NEVER had my own car before so I'm so dang proud. My ex bought me my last car because I was having problems due to no credit but I did this on my own!! Ok, really that's it.. I'm just rambling away. Time to frost the cake! So whatcha got going on?? what's new?? Later, Love yall.. Kay PS: I'm gonna eat chocolate ice cream too!

Boy oh boy, ship me some of that cake too!!!! I was gonna go to work.. but *cough cough* I'm sick. I have a new friend too, and we're eatin' sushi and coming back to the house I'm staying at to watch movies. Dunno what he's bringing, but alas, I'm sure it'll be good. Went dancing Wednesday, this time we won't yell at each other over loud music lol. Have fun chick!

Today was a beautiful day, I was out in the convertable getting as much sunshine as possible. I washed the car and got things in order. Tonite I tried to go to greekfest, having a gyros craving - and wanted to flirt with cute greek boys. But there was so much traffic and no place to park so I left and ordered a small pizza from this place I love....the crust is so thin and crispy. I ate almost 4 squares - it felt like a pigout. (once upon a time I would have eaten almost all of the large pizza!!) Tomorrow I am going to see a mentor in Madison and I was thinking about what to wear...and remembered I have these little skirts downstairs from when I was thinner 20 yrs ago. So I went down...and the carpet felt wet. I moved some things around and found - MOLD!!!! Yikes! So I spent the rest of the night hauling out boxes and anything that was moist. Of course it was all concentrated in the area I had boxes of stuff from my old office and the bsmt reorg when I set up my office. I am so upset. Mold is just evil stuff and there is no way I can get professionals in here until Tuesday. I pacified myself that the can of lysol I sprayed will slow things down. I threw away EVERYTHING in that area. Sigh. Its just feet from where I set up my new desk/work area. One box is all kinds of personal papers that I had ready to shred. Full of SSN and all kinds of account numbers. I put that in its own bag in the garage, dunno what I will do. This sucks!! So now I am drinking a glass of wine and talking to a friend who specializes in mold - and its adverse health effects. I also took the hottest shower I could, fearful that I would spread it to other parts of my home. This is not the Saturday night I envisioned!!!! That cake sounds really, really good. Although I've never been a sweet/carb person. Alternatively, I am thinking about the artichoke dip I passed up at the grocery earlier today. Fat....that's my weakness - yum. Be well, ladies. ~Tiff

Hey Kay Congrats on the car.....What color did you get. My 17 year old always said she wanted a yellow sunfire when she grew up......now she drives a 2000 black Mercury Cougar....Pretty cool looking for her.....I had a bbq at my house and everyone left around 10 so now I am relaxing and tomorrow I have another party to go to......Have a good weekend. My sunfire is black. They did have a yellow one too but it was a little too "loud" for my taste. I've always liked the Pontiac GT's but stuck with the sunfire til I establish some credit. Nothing fancy but it's mine!

So you're feet shrunk too I'm in a size 9 now and was also wearing a tight 11 before surgery. Nothing much to report on eating as I haven't. This is day 2. I had 3 protein shakes and lots of peach tea and water I feel like I'm drowning

Kay...I did okay eating other than the sugar cookies I ate. Glad they're gone! We went shopping today to buy Ben a black suit for my niece's wedding in December. We were gone most of the day. Hope you all have a great weekend. Karla

Hi Kay, It's been a beautiful weekend here in southern Illinois! We went to a Greekfest in St Louis yesterday. It was wonderful the food is delicious if just a little expensive. But the money goes to the Church and Charities so we didn't mind splurging a little. I had pork tender loin with home fries. (I don't step to far outside the box when it comes to trying new food) We are going to go back today or tomorrow because my husband wants the Gyros. I will probably have chicken. lol I had a couple bites of Baklava (sp) it's ice cream that tastes like a cross between.. ice cream and whipped cream. It was good but to sweet for me.
