Weekly Movie Review

Sorry this is late but I've been busy. Last weekend I saw Stardust. I give it 2 1/2 stars. Definitely a "chick flick" and OK for kids. If you like fantasy/fairy tale type stories you will like this one. * Beautifully filmed * Michelle Pfieffer was wonderful * Robert DiNiro was a trip Pretty good overall. My movie date is a 15 year old male. I got to see "Super Bad". 15 year old review: "That was great!!" Adult female: "Someone filmed this??? I didn't know you could string that many curse words and obscene thoughts together. The will never be able to edit this for tv". Enjoyable if you are exploring your inner 15 year old male! Teresa

I had my niece/nephew with me this week (ages 12 and 14). We saw Stardust, they agreed with the A- rating on yahoo, I would give it a B-. Nice story. Cute. I am not so into all that space age stuff and agree that Michelle was wonderful, DiNiro was a trip. The main character, Tristan, was a cutie. Yesterday we saw the Simpson's. I laughed for 2 hours straight. Some of the humor is adult oriented but done in a way that it would be over the kids heads and just funny. "Iggy/Hillary 2008" LOL!!!! I hope Nanny Diaries is as good as the book. Devil Wears Pradha was actually better than the book and I have my hopes up..... It's been a long time since I've been to the theatre and it was pretty nice, I am actually thinking of going by myself in the future.
