4) what is one thing you do now because of your weight loss surgery that you never imagined doing before?
In Vegas I rode in a helicopter. I would never have done that before. BUT the greatest thing happened to me this past week. I was on a home visit with a mother and 5 month old. She moved from the couch to the floor for our visit. I followed and sat on the floor during the vist, interacting with mom and baby. I got to the car and cried. I was comfortable on the floor, I was able to move well and get up and down. What a blessing this has been for me and the people in my life.

No transfer. This was the last addiction I had to kick!

My self, My hubby and my co-workers.

Hey all!
1. The struggle not to eat at night -- that's really a bad, bad habit for me because it's usually not the healthy choices.
2. I am 10 1/2 weeks out from a LBL, about 12 months away from a breast lift/augment
3. That this is NOT the easy way out that it is perceived to be. It fixes the body, but not the mind.
4. I jog -- I enjoy being physical.
5. Not really. Still struggling with the food addiction.
6. My wonderful husband!!
Lisa
Hey Chris! Great questions...
1) what is the one toughest struggle you have with your journey?
Still battling food addiction. I still eat things I shouldn't and I still eat more than I should sometimes. It will be a lifelong struggle.
2) where are you in your plastics journey?
My answer is the same as Ronna's...it is just a dream for me at this point.
3) What is one thing you would try to teach others about your journey?
I would tell people to remember who they are...and to not let this surgery change you in a negative way.
4) what is one thing you do now because of your weight loss surgery that you never imagined doing before?
Walk proudly.
5) have you obtained a transfer addiction instead of food and if so what is it?
I LOVE shopping for clothes...but since the money is tight, I cannot feed this addiction too much.
6) who is your biggest supporter?
Hmm...probably my husband. And my best friend, Debbie. I know she wants this surgery for herself but her insurance does not cover it. Despite that, though, she has been nothing less than wonderful during my journey. I am blessed to know her.
