Some really great news!!

I just wanted to pop on here and say hi!! I also got some really great news, I have been wanting to go back to school for a long time now to get my RN degree and it is finally happening!! I started this past Monday. I am just getting through my gen eds right now, but I am taking baby steps!! I also interviewed for a new position at the hospital in CICU as a monitor tech and I got the job!!! I will be getting almost 2 more dollars an hour to boot! I am moving to nights so that is going to take some getting used to, but I will only work 3 nights a week as full time. So I will have lots of time for studies and the family here at the homefront! I am so stoked about this whole thing. Just wanted to share some news from my side of town!! Love and miss you all. Steph

Thanks Teresa!! I have been waiting for an opportunity like this to come my way and get out of the lab for good. Not that I hate my job, I LOVE IT!! But I want to be an CICU nurse so I figured this was the best way to get my foot in!! I have such an enormous amount of respect for all the CICU nurses and I get along with them all, after all they were the ones who put me up to applying for it, and have been cheering me on this whole time!!
