Congrats on the baby, you are far enough out that you should not have to worry much about the pregnancy from the RNY. Watch your protein and iron. Have labs drawn right away and then have them done 1 or 2 times each trimester. I saw a reg ob and a high risk ob during my pregnancy. Faith is 7 1/2 weeks old, perfect and wonderful. We have started trying again for post RNY baby #2. God Bless, Jen

Thanks, the 1st thing my perinatologist did was order blood work. I have other high risk factors, so I'm being watched very carefully. Too carefully, sometimes it feels like, lol. We followed our surgeon's directions very closely and didn't try to concieve until we were more than 18 months post-op to avoid any further complications. Bridget
