Posted a movie review ------ Bet you thought this was going to be something juicy Anyway I've been getting out quite a lot and have seen several movies in the past couple of months so thought I would share a review: No Reservations - Saw this last night. Very cute, "chick flick" though. Catherine Zetta-Jones was really good and Aaron Eckhart is a real cutie Thumbs up on this one Bourne Ultimatum - Here's one for the guys and any of you ladies that like fast paced action movies. Good story line well done. At times the camera action was moving at such a fast pace that I got a bit dizzy but thumbs up on this one too Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - Just wonderful. Great story. But much darker than the previous movies. Wouldn't recommend for kids much less than 12. It's PG-13 for a reason. Another Knocked Up - Cute story, Katherine Heigl was really good. But they so limited the vocabulary used in the script that I was really annoyed. Too much use of the "F" word. Sometimes it felt like they did it just to do it. Could have done better without all the profanity License to Wed - This was the stinker of the year. And I'm a big Robin Williams fan. He was totally wasted in this one. And I wasted an hour and a half of my time watching this dud Well that's it for now movie fans. Have a great week. Sending hugs, Ronna

what a fun post!! I've not been to the theatre in a long time, maybe its time to shake things up?? I laughed at your comment about 'Knocked' using the F work too much. My mother always taught us that vulgar language was an uneducated persons response to not having a more eloquent way to express themselves. With that I am thrown back to a day when I was 12...thought I was a big shot in front of my siblings and used the F word as we were about to go..somewhere. Well. I was overheard by Mom. And dragged out of the van, just about dropped kicked into the house and bathroom. Where my mouth was washed out with....ZEST. Yes, I remember it in detail to this day. The taste lingered for about 2 weeks, no gum or mints would get rid of ZEST in my mouth because she made me bite the bar. The soap was embedded in my teeth. To this day I get nausous at the word. And I take great pains to express myself in a more eloquent manner with no 4 letter words (especially around her, it gave immediate respect by all 4 of us and all of our friends!!). We were not allowed to watch the Three Stooges or Little Rascals, either, absolutely forbidden!!!! If word got out that we watched at a friends house...there was hell to pay. Maybe one day I will tell the story when I took my mothers bike when she repeatedly said no. Yikes!!!!! Your story provoked that memory....had to share.

Thanks for the laugh. I can picture you "foaming at the mouth". Hey when do you want to get together? Now that you're not traveling so much, let's make it soon

I did get to see the Harry Potter movie, I did not think that it was as good as some of the others, but still I am a die hard Harry Potter fan and had a blast with my kids. I do have to say that the last book...Deathly Hallows... was GREAT! Thanks for the post! Cath

Can I add to it a couple of movies I've seen? The new Die Hard movie, I thought was really good. It had a lot of action in it, but what made the movie so good is that this is something that could happen here in the United States and there's not a darn thing we could do about it. Underdog - GREAT kids movie. Hairspray - It was good, but I liked the original much better. I only took my 11 year old because she is in love with Zac Efron! LOL Susan

Oh I did forget that one: Live Free or Die Hard. Another great action movie. Get storyline, super villian and Bruce Willis still's got it after all these years. Another

Hey! Thanks so much for the post! I definitely want to see No Reservations...and now even moreso after your review. Aaron Eckhart IS a cutie (I loved him better with his long hair in Erin Brockovich, though!)... I also want to see "Bourne..." but I need to see the first two first. Are they all worth seeing? Harry Potter...saw it and LOVED it. Then again, I am a Harry Potter fanatic so it would have to be a completely miserable representation of the book for me to hate it. And this one was very well made. I agree with you, though...not for the kiddies! I saw Knocked Up, too...I can't believe how long that has been in the theatre! I saw it months ago. VERY cute! I think if anyone liked 40-Year Old Virgin they will like this one (and I like them both). I did not see Licenced to Wed...but never planned to. SO NOT a Robin Williams fan (although I admit he was beyond fantastic in Good Will Hunting). This one just looked stupid to me and you have confirmed that! Please continue to post reviews...they are great! Love ya! Jersey
