Hey Tori: I love this post...what a great idea! Things are good for me, too. I had gained a couple of lbs (well, more like 5!) but am back on track and, once again, am 5 lbs from goal. I will get there one of these days! My work ebbs and tides as far as being busy and stressful. I am currently heading into the busy and stressful time and that is unfortunate. The In-Laws are still here. It is uncomfortable living in my own house but I never have to worry about dinner and my son is out of daycare for now. These are both blessings that I am truly thankful for. On August 31, my son is going to his grandparents house in Florida and my husband and I are taking a cruise out of Miami (on Sept. 2). I am really, really looking forward to it. I cannot believe that I weigh 35 lbs less than I did during my last cruise. By the time September 2nd gets here, I am hoping to be 40+ lighter than my last cruise. We are going to Labadee, Cozumel, Jamaica and Grand Cayman. Whoo hoo!! I guess that is all that is new with me! Tori, this is a great post. I have been so busy with my daughter's graduation party, having family in from England, Karyn coming to visit, we had tickets to the Yankees game in Toronto so John and I spent a few days up there (Tickets and Hotel bought in Feb) we really needed the break. I was supposed to visit Anna but unfortunately that fell through and perhaps we can do it another time. My daughter starts college and we did all the orientation and stuff (she is getting depressed because her boyfriend decided he is going away to school) My other daughter Elizabeth was riding on the back of an ATV and the driver flipped it and it rolled over both girls! Thankfully no fatal injuries but Elizabeth wa**** on the knee with the ATV and she has some beautiful colored bruises and hopefully that is all. She has no insurance but I did take her to the doctor the next day anyway. It has been two weeks and it is still bruised and swollen. Anyway I think that is it! Hi Tori!! Glad that the road to recovery is looking good! I have been swamped with work, and just applied for a different position at the hospital in ICU. I have also been running ragged with my 16 year old Godson that I inherited this summer and decided he wanted to live with me. I have also been really busy with gymnastics with my middle daughter and the other two kids are really getting into soccer and girlscouts. All is well witht the weight, I am actually below where I should be but I got sick with a bacterial infection a few weeks ago and ran almost 105 temp for 4 days, they gave me 2 different antibiotics and that fixed me right up, but I lost 5 lbs more in the process. I am glad that is all over with. Anyway, I am looking forward to autumn and the cooler temps and all the fun stuff that goes with, can't wait for school to start, I go back in a couple weeks to start my gen eds for nursing, and the kids start next week....woohoo!!! I hope everyone is doing great!!! I am going to finish preparing my daughters birthday today, she is 7 now...whoa!! I feel OLD! Have a great day everyone!!! I miss and love you all. Steph

This is a great idea! I've just been working, getting ready to go on my next couple vacations. I've learned that since I can, I might as well travel! I had so much fun my last trip, so I hope I just keep having fun. I just called this morning to get financing for my breast augmentation...I'm approved! So hopefully I'll be having surgery October 22. I'll also be moving to NY around that time as well for my next assignment. I really wanna meet some surgery sisters! Hopefully with my travels I'll be able to. As far as my weight...I'm a little frustrated. I haven't been on a scale since I got back from vacation. I really don't wanna get on again until I go to Miami in September, so we'll see. But I'll do good all day, then at night...to hell! It's the carbs. They call my name ever so softly! I have to admit, I've been doing a little bit better eating the right things and getting my protein but I'd like to get alot better. I can see myself slipping back into habits presurgery. Don't need to do that! I'd still like to lose a few pounds. I work out faithfully, so that's all good. I need my healthy lifestyle to include eating right AND physical fitness. But I'm working on it.
