I looked and looked for a protein that I could tolerate and found it with the Protein Delite, also. But other than ordering it from the Bariatric Eating site (which you can still do, by the way), I could only find it in one health food store in my area - and they special ordered it for me direct from Scitec. He had told me that it was getting harder for them to order, so I looked around and found a GREAT tasting one called Whey Gourmet. It is 100% better tasting than the protein delite. I haven't found it anywhere close to me yet, but you can still get it from the Bariatric Eating site.

Hey Lisa. Which Whey Gourmet did you try? I tried the Raspberry smoothie and gagged...several times! Maybe the fruity flavors aren't a good idea for me or something. April

Hey April, ALL fruity flavored anythings usually don't taste good to me (very few exceptions), so I took a chance and ordered JUST the Vanilla Ice Cream Royale to begin with. It was sooo good, that then ordered the Artic Cuppacino Frappe and the Creamy Dreamy Milk Chocolate, Caramel Dip and the Orangesicle. I have loved each of them. The only one that I DIDN'T like was the Mint Chocolate Chip - it had an off "after" taste, if that makes sense. I do "doctor" up my shakes, though. I blend mine in the blender and add a tsp of splenda (I like them realy sweet) with ice and sometimes a couple of tsp of powdered milk (I don't ever use milk in my shakes, as I've become somewhat lactose intolerant). With the vanilla royale flavor, I have experimented with adding different extracts and mix-ins. One that I really like is adding a couple of the sugar-free oreo type cookies to the blender and pulsing it for a cookies and cream type shake. I've also mixed in a couple of tsp of sugar-free chocolate chips with a little sugar-free chocolate syrup and that one is so good that one of my teenagers will fight me for a few sips. LOL. Lisa

Lisa, Thanks so much for the information. The protein delite mfg. is or has gone out of business. I just had a company e-mail me and say they were trying to find out who the mfg. so they could put it under there labor. What a shame it has gone out of business. The web site is down for the company. Thanks os much for your help. I will try Whey Gourmet. Joyce

I still find the Jay Robb as the only one I can handle. It mixed up so nicely, never any clumps. No hormones, sweetend wtih Stevia. Vitamin Shoppe or the local health food stores are the cheapest. He makes a good protein bar, too...the peanut butter is my favorite.
