Family Drama.......

Thursday night my husband had an episode, for lack of a better word. Little did I know that he was drinking. I had found liquor hidden before but did not know he was still drinking. Apparently my sniffer is not working properly. He took a whole bottle of Ambien and Percocet and almost died. The ambulance had to bag him all the way to the hospital. He was placed on a vent and admitted to Intensive Care. He finally woke up Saturday and still does not remember anything before Sunday. He was transfered to a psychiatric hospital on Sunday and was released last night. He would never have done this if he had not been drinking, he is not suicidal. I have had a very stressful last few days. We are now seeing a psychiatrist, counselor, and sleep doctor. I have 2 kids age 6 and 10 who have been sheltered from all of this. They went to see him Sunday when he was finally "with it" before he went to the other hospital. We told them he was in the hospital for sleep problems. Keep us in your prayers. The kids and I am catholic and Joe does not believe in God and does not go to church with us or at all. I am hoping this will make him want to find God so PRAY HARD! Wendy
