Hello!! It's been awhile since I've posted although I do lurk to keep up on everyone's progress. So many of you are also going thru major changes in your lives, its exciting to hear of the plastics, baby Faith and how much we have evolved in the last 18 months. For the last 6 months I have traveled constantly. Both coasts, Europe 3x, Mexico...I could list all the cities and it would be its own paragraph. It has been exciting but also quite the drain. So I put emphasis on finding a new job and am pleased to share that I found it!!! I am about to start week 4. It is a home office as they are based in Dallas. My travel will be monthly and just for a few days. I am one of the execs so my brain is again being challenged. The company is also in travel but the technology/content side of it rather than the agency/supplier relations side. I work with many of the same people which is great. So my biggest challenge now is getting a life. For the last 11.5 years I came and went (mostly went) and was not really home long enough to form solid relationships and build my personal interests. Now its all ahead and I am really excited. I made a list and am working to bring personal fulfillment to my days and evenings. I am going reguarly to the gym and starting some classes which will kick my butt but I am ready for it. In the fall I am going to take a few computer courses. And maybe along the way I will find a boyfriend! Internet dating has not proven itself to me in the past but I continue to give it a try. Especially now that I am around to know people better before I run off to another city. LOL! My 18 month surgeon appt was right after I left my company and started COBRA. I cant start on the new insurance company until 1 September. All of this is complicated as my surgeon found a hernia and how I am going to proceed is all up in the air. Good news is that while that's being done he's also going to take the skin off my abdomen. I am so excited that I'll have a flat tummy for the first time in my life!!! Hopefully this will all work out with insurances and I'll have the operation in September. There are old habits that I struggle with. Sometimes I dont get enough protein and find myself with wicked headaches or unable to sleep. I am watching this more these days and am going to try and post, just to ensure I am getting in all that I should. Water and vitamins are no problem, its just sometimes I forget to eat....and am then starving and on the warpath for food. Does anyone have that long list of protein shake recipies? Usually I have vanilla whey with soy milk, the SF cinnamon dolce syrup from Starbucks and a shot of their decaf espresso. I need to change it up a bit. I also tend to gulp food, especially when hungry. To this day I have to think about every bite....remember to go slowly, chew it to a pulp, put down the fork between bites. Do any of you struggle with this or like behaviours? Wine sometimes calls my name too often, an after affect of traveling so much. 2x I had blackouts which alarmed me (rightly so!!) and reading the challenges you all have experienced and shared, I am confident in my ability to closely monitor this as I see what affect it can quickly have. I am trying to transfer my 'addiction' to exercise since food is no longer there but am far from it...I keep going and hope one day that I'll find that endorphin high everyone talks about. New photos are posted in my profile. The scale has waivered over the same 5 lbs for the last 6 months but I have dropped a size, I am now a perfect 12 and have 2 items in the size 10 category. There's still more to go, I am 4 pounds from claiming -100 here....although that's the number I use publically. I look forward to posting and talking more with you all. Hugs, love and friendship, ~Tiffany

Tiffany, good to hear from you. It sounds like you've really been busy. Glad you like your new job. My niece works for a travel company in Dallas that books big sporting events and she loves it. She is getting to travel more now and she loves to travel. She got to go to the Final Four basketball game this Spring. She loves the people she works with. She would like to make more $$$...she isn't making as much as a 1st yr. teacher even w/ a degree. Hopefully she'll up her salary in the future. Hope your insurance gets lined up and you get your tummy tuck/hernia surgery soon. Take care of yourself. Karla
