Hi everyone!!! I am just curious as to how everyone fits working out in their schedules... I've been really good with it since 6 mos before surgery.... Up to 2 mos ago I even had the greatest arms muscles!!!! With my new job and classes, plus the kids and a b/f and my chihuhua just had puppies... working out just fades away. My weight bounces within 10lbs or so... but it always has. I just need some tips on how you guys fit it into a busy schedule... or do I just need a kick in the butt and just DO IT!!!??? I haven't even been on the scale for over a month which is shocking! But my clothes sometimes feel tight then I'm more careful a few days... then ..... blah!!! Hugs n stuff, Renee PS- Congrats to everyone who has had plastic surgery!!! I was denied and will have to save up for it... which will be awhile...school and bills will have to come first. Stupid insurance companies!!!

Hi Renee! Can you add an aerobics or circuit class where you're going to school at? That's what I'm doing.... if its a requirement and I'm getting graded, I'll at least make more of a go at it. Keep all your documentation for your plastics and insurance. I had monster rashes at the time of my consult when the doc took photos. I'll keep you in my thoughts... keep fighting hun!

thanks sweetie!!! I don't have bad rashes,,,, just little annoying ones... I'm sure I'll just have to save up... I really wanted the tummy tuck and everything but maybe just cutting off that nasty skin will work... it's cheaper and better than nothing! Nothing like that where I'm going to school but my work does have a gym area... I'd join that too just to have one of my co-workers as a work out buddy but I'm not sure yet... I already pay for the Y! Hugs!

If you're paying for it... GO! Or cancel and put the cash in your plastics account! I had a tummy tuck without the muscle tightening.... maybe you could do that? It was an anchor cut as well so I have a vertical and horizontal cut.

How did that go? You just did this recently right??? Are you happy with it? I'm thinking I might just do that. That's good enough. I'm old and stuff, I'll never have a model body anyway!!!! I'm so happy for you Jaci!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Renee. I don't have a family or even a dog for that matter, but I sometimes have a very hectic schedule. You just have to do it!!!!!I never feel like getting up and going to work out, but I go head and just do it. After a good sweat, it feels great. Sometimes taking classes might work better for you since it's very regimented and you HAVE to do the work. Also, remember 30 mins of cardio is great! Start small first. April

You're such a good girl!!!! I love the way I feel after working out... it just seems to be my last priority, which in the scheme of things it kind of is, but shouldn't be I guess!!! I will try doing a class... I want to do karate but I'm not sure how good of a work out it would be... should be a bit of everything though actually... they are 2 hours on thurs and sat. I actually miss the weight training more than I miss the cardio!!! Have you tried a spinning class yet? That's what I'd REALLY like to try and get into but I tried it once... (not long after surgery) and it totally kicked my butt!! Maybe I should try that one again! Thanks sooooooo much for the response Hugs!!!

I haven't tried spinning yet. I know its a great workout but for some reason...I'm scared! My butt hurts now whenever I ride a stationary bike for a little bit. I might give it a try some day though. April

Hey Renee~ I belonged to Curves when I started this journey and then it became hard for me to get there since I was working a full time job and a part time job 3 nights a week. I decided the best thing for me was to join a gym I could go to when I wanted or had the time and then I joined Workout 24/7 and that way no matter what time of night or day I had open I could always make it to the gym. No excuses They have a personal trainer that I have talked to about different things and she has helped me learn what I need to know to keep it fresh and active. Hope this helps and good luck!!! Happy Belated Birthday!!!! Suzette (your neighbor in MN)

thanks for the belated bday wishes!!! I don't think we have a place like that here that's open all the time I finished orientation though and summer classes end the end of the month so I won't have any excuses to start back again... until the new fall classes start. UGH!!! A personal trainer sounds awesome. I wish I could afford one!
