A little update - I thought I was in labor, not yet, though
Here is my little update ... I went to the dr this afternoon. I am not in real labor yet but my body is getting ready. As soon as she started the internal exam she said wow there is the head, she is right there. I am dialated to almost 2 and 25% effaced. The plan is still to be induced 7/3,a week from tomorrow. She told me to have lots of sex to help move it all along. She said I will keep contracting and if I have regular ones that I can time to call them.. Also, if the baby is not moving as much to call them and let them know.
I admit, I am a little disappointed I would really like to get this over with but we have arrangements made to have another family from our agency take the kids next week and we have care arranged for Gracie ... so ... I will try to be patient.

With my Daughter, the second child, I was having my birthday dinner at my folks about 60 miles from my house. I took one bite of my taco and had a contraction. It kept coming. So I called the Doc and because my first kid was so fast, they said to go to a local hospital. I stayed over night, the contractions had stopped. The Doc came in to talk to me at 7am and asked if there were any questions, I said yes, my water broke.
By 10am he was taking my history and again asked if I had any questions, to his surprise I said I needed to push with the last contraction. He did a quick exam and without putting the blankets back down, I was wheeled across the hallway, all to be seen and out came my daughter. 2 hours labor.
I tell you this, because you could have a surprise tomorrow when you wake up. False the day before and real in the am and over quick. Best of luck and great wishes.
