Hey Guys and Gals!
I am finally able to sit upright at the pc for a few minutes Everything went well surgically and I'll know who its healing Tuesday. My surgery was to be at 1 on Thursday... but ended up being pushed bac****il 4 or so. Got home around 9:30 pm and was out for a good 12 hours. So this is technically day 3 lol.
I was able to get up today and do more for myself... Thankfully I do have my mom, dad and Tommy here. I was feeling a bit blah so I changed into some shorts and tank top- I feel human again and wow- I have a waist! Its so weird! Kind of still waiting to wake up from the dream, but I can't stop touching my tummy!
My drains aren't too bad. Yeah, they're in the way, but what you gonna do? We just pin them higher
I'll know more on Tuesday, but I wanted to thank everyone for the prayers and well wishes and the text messages- so thoughtful! Thanks for letting everyone know, Kelli!

Hey Jaci! I'm so glad to see you up and posting. I'm amazed that you can put on shorts -- I'm still wearing the old granny muu-muus around my drains because I can't stand for anything to touch my stomach right now. LOL.
I am so very excited for you -- get some rest and don't overdo things, okay?

Hi there, glad you are doing better. Take it slow and let yourself heal. I had what they call wound dehiscence (wound separation). I was out of work from a desk job for about 6 weeks. I finally get to work out next week 2 months post op. Just be careful and don't over do it. I regret being a smart alec and screwing myself up. I was on antibiotics for 4 weeks. Please, please, please, take it slow. Oh yeah, I live upstairs so if you have stairs don't climb them for six weeks. I did bad mistake My rants are all said in good meaning so please don't take it the wrong way. I want you to be ok. Take care of yourself! I am sure you will look awesome! Oh yeah, death to all drains yuck!!!
