I'm Home!
My wonderful hubs and I got home earlier this morning. I'm feeling pretty good, sore, but good. The first few hours were really rough and getting in and out of bed that first time was a booger, but today - two days past - everything is much more tolerable.
Thanks, Jen, for posting the update. I appreciate all the well-wishes from my fellow board members, too! You ladies are such a wonderful support. Even when I don't post regularly, I read and get inspiration regularly.
Dr. Wainwright said that they removed 16 pounds of skin and tissue. I was afraid to look at myself in the hospital, but caught a glimpse of myself when we got home earlier and immediately started crying like a girl (which, by the way, hurt worse than anything so far). LOL -- Even with the swelling and all, my stomach looks soooo much better. There is NO apron - none. I haven't seen flat belly like that since I was a teenager. I cannot even imagine what I will look like when the swelling goes down.
Thank goodness for vicodin and my laptop!
Lisa
