OB Update - Faith is in postition

I went to the doctor this afternoon b/c I was/am in a ton of pain and had a lot pressure in my pubic and pelvic area. I really thought that the baby was going to push out when I went to the potty. I also have pain when I stand up from a squatting or kneeling position and when I get out of bed. Here is what the NP said ... everything is exactly as it should be for this week in my pregnancy and I am ok. The pressure and pain in b/c the baby is low in the pelvic area. Faith's precious little head is just chillin' on mama's cervix. My cervix is "softening," it is 25% effaced and the lower portion of my cervix is 1 cm dialated - but the upper part still has not reach 1 cm yet. (I did not know that dialation "worked its way up" the cervix.) The NP said Faith feels like a big baby and that there does not appear to be a lot of fluid as indicated in my last ultra sound. 3 weeks ago, she was estimated at 4 pouns 10 oz. I have an ultrasound scheduled for next Monday and am anxious to see her stats. I made an appt with a chiropractor for tomorrow. If he prescibes it, my insurance will pay for an adjustment and 1/2 hour massage - I am so wanting that massage. It's 8pm and I am heading off to soak in the tub, have hubby give me a massage (I am sure he wil think that means something else!) and then to night night land. God Bless! Jen
