A little update on my pregnancy
I posted this on the preggo board and thought I would share it with you all too. I hope you are not too tired of hearing about this pregnancy!
I saw my standard OB today. Everything is going good. My fluid is a little high (according to my Ultrasound from 2 weeks ago) but everything else is good.
I posed the question of induction to her - SHE SAID YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to wait until 38 weeks and my cervix is ripe.
I was totally freaking about having to call people in the middle of the night and then getting the kids shipped off to their various caretakers. The foster kiddos have to go to licensed foster parents or respite providers and my bio daughter will go with some of my friends. The foster kids will be in a different area of town - about an hour away - so imagine me in labor trapsing all around town to deliver the kids here and there.
I am sooooooo relieved.
I am hoping for a July 2nd induction, the doctor said we would discuss the date at my next appt. She wants me to have another ultrasound to check the amniotic fluid. I already had my last appt with my High Risk OB scheduled for 6/18 with a level II ultra sound. SO that should give her all the info she needs on the fluid level.
God Bless
Jen
Jen:
I am NEVER, EVER tired of hearing about your pregnancy. As a matter of fact, I LOVE the updates...so please keep them coming!
That is GREAT that you will be induced! It will make things so much easier to plan. I was induced with my son so I can appreciate how much easier that made life (and I had no other kids at the time).
I am so happy to hear that everything is going well...I cannot WAIT to "meet" our new little girl!
Love and hugs,
Jersey
I'm glad I am not bombarding you all. This is just so big to me I could post everyday! I do restrain myself though.
I wish I had a scanner - I have some of the most beautiful ultrasound pictures, she is gorgeous, says her proud mother.
My sister is having a "necessicities" baby shower for me at the end of the month. I am so excited to party and celelbrate I cannot wait. Like a kid in a candy store, I am.
I bought her coming home dress and shoes- so super cute - OMG - the dress is a smock type, white cotton, emboidried (sp???) with multi colored flowers and the shoes match - they have little organza ties for around her ankles. My description sucks, but I will post a picture sometime soon.
