If we are all going to start the protein thing Monday we need to plan ahead for food. What are we having Monday?? I need some ideas so I know what to buy at the grocery store. Breakfast - scrambled egg or cottage cheese and applesauce (is homemade applesauce legal) Lunch.....I am already stumped....Do you see why I am not usually sucessful??? I have to plan, plan, plan ahead!!! Wendy

I am joining, too! But I am SOOO boring when I do this. I eat the same thing every day so I cannot be of much help menu-wise.
The one thing I MUST have on hand to get through this is a roast chicken. I buy one from BJ's...they are so good from there. I chop up 3 oz. portions and put them in baggies. Then I just grab one on the way to work.
Let's kick some protein butt!

I get these pre-made turkey burgers from walmart and they are good. The same complany makes a sweet italian turkey sausage link and they are good too. Both have a good amount of protein in them.
Let see what else...

Gordans baked fish filet
Beef jerky for snacking
yogart
Cheese
Ham and turkey cold cuts
chicken.. i like boneless/skinless chicken thighs
Protein bars.. oh yeah, pure protein and power crunch are my fav.
I need to go to the grocery store too!
