If we are all going to start the protein thing Monday we need to plan ahead for food. What are we having Monday?? I need some ideas so I know what to buy at the grocery store. Breakfast - scrambled egg or cottage cheese and applesauce (is homemade applesauce legal) Lunch.....I am already stumped....Do you see why I am not usually sucessful??? I have to plan, plan, plan ahead!!! Wendy

Hey! I am joining, too! But I am SOOO boring when I do this. I eat the same thing every day so I cannot be of much help menu-wise. The one thing I MUST have on hand to get through this is a roast chicken. I buy one from BJ's...they are so good from there. I chop up 3 oz. portions and put them in baggies. Then I just grab one on the way to work. Let's kick some protein butt! Hugs, Jersey

I get these pre-made turkey burgers from walmart and they are good. The same complany makes a sweet italian turkey sausage link and they are good too. Both have a good amount of protein in them. Let see what else... Tuna Gordans baked fish filet Beef jerky for snacking yogart Cheese Ham and turkey cold cuts chicken.. i like boneless/skinless chicken thighs Protein bars.. oh yeah, pure protein and power crunch are my fav. K, Thanks for the ideas, that is my biggest problem to, it is way easier to grab a bag of pretzles then it is to bake a piece of chicken. I am going to work on stocking up the protein laden stufff this weekend. HAVE A GOOD DAY TORI

You are so right.. On monday, I usually bake up a few peices of chicken just to have in the fridge. With the turkey burgers, I wrap them indivisually and it only takes a few minutes to grill them on the George F. grill! Your welcome, Kay
