Friday roll call!

Hi guys...kinda quiet lately here. After reading Kay's post about the way she feels and how she see's herself got me to thinking......Somedays I feel skinny and somedays fat...I guess it is all in the perseption. I am wearing s small top, and 4 or 6 in pants but the size does not matter I see the "muffin" hanging over the top and that is what makes me feel fat.....I have been struggling t lse any kinda of pounds at all.....Tuesday/Wednesday I did wonderfull....Loads of exercise, water and protein yet today I have weighed in at 141. I have been close to this weight since December and am really frustrated...so then I think what is the use it is just going to be my "weight" I do not want this to be my final weight! I NEED to loose to get to my personal goal of 125 even if just for a day......Enough about me....Yesterday I became an Aunt again.....My nephew is the proud papa f an 6lb 8oz baby boy and they named him Owen Michael....I will post a picture soon.... Here are some good questions I think.... 1) what are your plans this weekend? 2) How many siblings do you have? 3) How many nieces and NEPHEWS? 4) Where do you fall in the birth order and are you close with your siblings? 5) How many states have you lived in? 6) What is your favorite Hobby? 7) What is your favorite meal? 8) Do you have a secret addiction(just something you do and know you shuldn't) you want to share? I guess this is all I can think of..... Here are my answers! 1) what are your plans this weekend? Just gardening or more like telling John where to put the flowers... I am ging to the Yankees game in Toronto on Monday.... 2) How many siblings do you have? I have 5 sisters and 1 brother although one sister passed away in Feb of 05.. 3) How many nieces and NEPHEWS? I have 17 nieces and nephews ( 11 boys 6 girls) but then I have 4 great nieces and 4 great nephews (I hope I did not forget anyone) 4) Where do you fall in the birth order and are you close with your siblings? I am the 5th child 3 older sisters then my brother, then me and then 2 younger sisters....But I am the nicest! I am close with my brother and one sister..the others I tolerate 5) How many states have you lived in? 3 california, florida and ny 6) What is your favorite Hobby? I love bingo...I am also into scrapbooking...Watching my daughter play softball and she just informed me she does not want to play in college.. 7) What is your favorite meal? Chicken or chili... 8) Do you have a secret addiction(just something you do and know you shuldn't) you want to share? I love gum but just till the sugar is gone.... Have fun....

Hey Chris! Congratulations on becoming an Aunt again! I look forward to seeing the pictures! And I am right there with ya on feeling fat much of the time. I was chatting with my co-worker, Mike, this morning and I showed him my new shoes. I told him that I am still so amazed that they are a size 7! He said, "Robin...STOP being surprised about all this stuff. Yes, you are thin. Yes, you are hot. Yes, you have a size 7 foot." First of all, he never, ever says nice things about me or anyone else. But my first reaction was to scoff at him for calling me thin. But then I THANKED him for calling me thin even though I do not believe it or see it. :::sigh::: Anyhoo...here are my answers... 1) what are your plans this weekend? -- Oooh, so much fun planned (not!). Tonight we might go to my town carnival. I think my son would like that. This weekend is CLEANING weekend (ugh!). We need to take out and clean the patio furniture, remove the pool cover and treat the pool, get flowers and plant them and just do a general summer-izing (like my new word?) of the back yard. 2) How many siblings do you have? -- This question is so innocuous but SO painful for me now. I now have only one sister named Tracey. 3) How many nieces and NEPHEWS? -- Another painful question. Regardless of now only having one sister, I still consider myself as having 5 nieces and nephews. I have a niece and a nephew from Tracey and two nieces and a nephew from the person formally known as my oldest sister. 4) Where do you fall in the birth order and are you close with your siblings? -- I am the youngest. I am 36 (well...I will be on 6/24). Tracey turned 40 this year and the person formally known as my sister is 42 this year. I am VERY close with Tracey. I think you all pretty much know about the "other" sister. 5) How many states have you lived in? -- One. I have only ever lived in one town! Exciting stuff, eh? 6) What is your favorite Hobby? -- I love reading and watching a good movie but my favorite hobby is playing with my son. We are developing a lot of fun games. We have so much fun at the park and we like to play "dead boy." When he was a little younger, before I really started censoring the dumb things I said to him, I would chase him and say, "Ooooh, noooo...someone's a dead boy!" I would pounce on him and tickle him. He LOVES it. His shrieking laughter just kills me. But now when he wants to play he says, "Moooommy...I'm a dead boy!" I can just imagine what other people would think if they heard this! 7) What is your favorite meal? -- Anything my Mother-in-Law cooks. My favorite dish is probably this eggplant thing she makes. NO idea what it is in it. But eating that with her roti is heavenly! 8) Do you have a secret addiction(just something you do and know you shuldn't) you want to share? -- I have a not-so-secret addiction. I drink WAY too much Diet Soda. I mean...way, way too much. I do not drink any water at all. Bad, bad, bad! I also, um, take laxatives once a week which I know I probably shouldn't. My brother and I are not close. Hey Chris Yesterday I was trying on shorts at Cato and knowing I wear a size 12 now, I picked up all size 14's because I am seriously convinced that I wear a size 14 again. The 14's were too big so I ended up buying 2 size 12's. I don't know why I did this. The sales lady and another lady was talking about gaining weight. I said, omg, i understand and then she made a comment about me not understanding how it is to be fat because I'm small. I was thinking who me, small. Is this lady crazy or what!! Anyway, that's just an example my eyes don't see what other people see! 1) what are your plans this weekend? ~ My friend and I are going to the beach in a couple hours and coming back tomorrow night. Sunday is church and whatever and Monday my family is going to the lake to fish, swim and bbq! 2) How many siblings do you have? ~ I have 3 older brothers.. Keith, Kevin and Kelly 3) How many nieces and NEPHEWS? ~ 2 Nieces.. Kelli and Kaylin and 1 nephew, Kelly Jr. (my mom likes K's and now everyone sticks with it.) 4) Where do you fall in the birth order and are you close with your siblings? ~I am the 4th (youngest) child and the only girl. I am very close to my middle brother, kevin. My oldest brother and I really haven't had a good relationship since he found out I was a lesbian. I have not talked to him in years. I heard he was ashamed of me. My youngest brother is quiet but we have a normal relationship. 5) How many states have you lived in? ~ Tenn, Cali, NC and SC.. 4 6) What is your favorite Hobby? ~ Fishing 7) What is your favorite meal? ~ Steamed crablegs 8) Do you have a secret addiction(just something you do and know you shuldn't) you want to share? ~ OMG, I'm addicted to gum too. HI Chris, Congrats on the new baby. I also be came an aunt again yesterday ~ A GREAT aunt. I am only 35, isn't that too young to be a great anything? 1) what are your plans this weekend? Festival at church, church Sunday and not much else. 2) How many siblings do you have? I have a sister and brother ~ and ... a adopted step sister on my dad's side. 3) How many nieces and NEPHEWS? 5 nieces ~ soon to be 6 and I have 3 nephews. AND ONE GREAT NEPHEW - born yesterday. 4) Where do you fall in the birth order and are you close with your siblings? I am the oldest of my sibling group - the adopted step sister is older but we were not raised together and I really do not know her so I do not count her as a real sibling. That sounds mean, I do not mean it to sound that way. I raised my younger brother and sister after my mom's death - we are very close. 5) How many states have you lived in? 4 states. 6) What is your favorite Hobby?
