Looking better
Let me just say - GOD ROCKS!
The jurisdiction change and transfer of the kids was denied at the special hearing today. This was the absolute best case scenario. Thursday the jury trial for parental rights termination is back on.
Wayne and I have decided to file our own petition for intervention. We are doing this pro se (without an attorney). We went to the Houston Law Library this evening and (hopefully) have the information we need to complete and file the document with the distric clerk tomorrow.
Please continue to pray th for this situation, that we are smart enough to play lawyer, that the petition will be accepted by the court (technically, they do not have to accept it until the children have been in our home for 1 year - May 10th for Nathanial and June 19th for Marissa) and that the jury and judge will rule in the best interest of the children on Thursday.
I heard through our little grapevine today that if the grandparents are granted custody by Harris County, CPS in Louisana has already decided that the children will not be permitted to stay with the grandparents. CPS intends to immediately remove the kiddos from their custody. That would mean another foster home in Louisana.
God Bless!

Jen, God is so good all the time! He sure can turn the worse situation into the best and then we are just in awe of how it turns out better than we thought. Keep us informed. God is working on it even in the background...Thursday he will answer. I cant wait to see all the great things he has in store for your family.
