'Popcorn' Follow-up
After a half a BIG bag of plain popcorn, a zip lock bag of white cheddar popcorn, and a small bag of white cheddar popcorn (spread throughout the 10 hours work day) I decided I should go home. I put my rings into the empty zip lock bag (recycling is good, right?) since I couldn't get them on. After trying to get my shoes on for 30 minutes (I made the mistake of kicking my shoes off under my desk), I figured I would just walk to the car 'barefoot'. Other than a run in my pantyhose and stepping in the puddle by my car, the walk was fine. I finally squeezed my wet fat feet into my shoes so I could at least 'drive' home.
The good news - the popcorn hasn't caused my guts any problems (and fiber is good for me - LOL) and the bloat has gone away. The scale was still happy this morning (126 pounds) and because my shoes got 'stretched' a bit - they don't hurt my bunion as much...........
The bad news - my husband just emailed me that he bought two bags of popcorn at the store today........they were a BOGO - LOLOL.

I ate so much popcorn in the last 6 mos ....lol I have to say it does have lots of fiber and will keep you regular. Now if you like popcorn try corn nuts I hated even the smell of them before now I can't go a day without them..
I posted the other day on another thread I wonder what it is about crunchy salty snacks that we crave so much ? I used to love chocolate and creamy foods now I love crunchy ..mmhm

HI Tori-
You know, I used to love chocolate and sweet things, and I honestly used to dislike potato chips. My husband loved them and he never worried about my eating them cuz I honestly didn't like them at all. Now, after surgery, I CRAVE salt and vinegar potato chips. The saltier and crunchier the better. I wonder why the surgery has effected us in this way?
