Plastic surgery next Friday

I start my PS journey next Friday. Yesterday I went to my 2nd appt. with Dr. Wainwright, a great PS in Houston that does reconstructive surgery and is one of the 2 dr.s in Houston that specialize in lower body lifts. I will be having my LBL on July 17. It is later than I wanted and only gives me 3 weeks of summer to heal, but I'll probably have to take off a week or 2 more. He wanted to do "aggressive" lipo on me at least 2 months before the surgery so when he does the LBL, he can get the whole abdomen area really tight. He was concerned with the fat left in my upper abdomen. I have a panni, plus a giant upper "bubble" above my belly button. He said he could have pulled it tight w/o the extra lipo, but it would have had a hump from the fat still there. It's the one spot that wouldn't go away. He's also going to lipo some from my "flanks", (upper sides & top of rear) to help with the LBL. He said that will take some weight off the skin for the LBL when he does it. I have to get my prescriptions for pain meds filled Monday, but am pretty prepared otherwise. I am only taking off 3-4 work days, plus next weekend. He said that should be fine for recovery. Today I'm cleaning house to have it ready since I won't feel like doing for a couple of weeks after the surgery. I'm ready to get it over and done with. Karla 337/175/165 33

Aggressive - I wonder how much fat he will remove with the lipo. I''d like to know - I have that hump above my bb too. Not so much now but you know what I mean...

He never said how much yet...Mine is a LOT. I need to get some pics taken this week and I'll show you how gross mine is...haven't seen many like it! I'll let you know once I have the lipo done. I will be praying for you, I bet you loose thise extra 10 pounds with this lipo and the recovery..you don't feel much like eating. I have decided to do my upper body plastics the first week in July. I hope the recovery from that will be lots easier then the lbl...the dr said I only needed a week off. We will see Tori
