NANCY & RUFUS PART TWO - Sunday edition
sooo..now that Ive got my golden locks all curly and cascading over my lilywhite shoulders *coughs & chokes* and my nails done too, Im being taken out yet again by another dear friend, Ginette, from sorority...she says its a surprise for my birthday..the afternoon out then dinner for both of us, having both had birthdays recently. hmmmm...all I know is that Im to meet her in the parking lot of the Sheraton Four Points in the city.
In the meantime, after getting home from my fun day out today, and then JB and I watched An Inconvenient Truth w/ Al Gore and then FLIGHT 93, which got me all depressed and teary.
I cheered myself up by painting a small tote bag for Ginette as part of her birthday gift...she collects frogs so I painted a green and gold sparkly and cute frog snagging a purple flying bug and it's drying now...into it, Im putting a cute FROG brooch, a stone frog that I bought in Key West for her, a tiny book on chocolate, her weakness and a few other little gifts....I even have a hand painted FROG birthday card for her too.
So since Im having yet another early day. Im posting Rufus's menu for Sunday now. This is what Rufus, my pouch, is getting Sunday:
Im PLANNING-
B Matrix Hot chocolate protein drink w/ skim milk powder = 30 grams of protein
S 2 hard cooked eggs mashed in mayo on rice crackers = 12 grams of protein
L turkey salad = approx 25 grams of protein
S taking cheese & rice crackers in my purse and a small baggie of Matrix & skim milk powder
D some kind of seafood/fish/shrimp
S whatever I need to make my protein levels decent at the end of the day
Im not even going to guess at the total..it all depends on what's available where ever we go... so what will YOUR pouch get on Sunday? Rufus wants to know!
Hello Nancy and Rufus.. It sounds like you had a pretty good day. Mine wasn't too bad either. After church Kristina and I went to walmart for 2 hours, went to the mall then we came home and watched movies. Now I'm doing laundry getting ready for work tomorrow.
Here's what cybil and i ate today..
B~ Special K protein cereal w/ cc milk & 2 strawberries
L~ Chicken breast simmered in salsa and topped w/ cheese
S~ handful of sunflower seeds
D~ Grilled pork chop, steamed broccoli and 2 bites of mashed potatoes
S~ few grapes if I want something later.
I've had plenty of water today and have taken all my vitamins. Exercise is shopping!

Sounds like your day is going great! I spent all day sleeping away...of course getting off work this morning to come back in tonight for OT. But here's what I had since 12 am:
3 oz. garlic chicken, broccoli and cheese
Breyer's Light yogurt 1 oz. RF cheese, 5 Wheat crackers
1/4 c. mandarin oranges
100 cal pack choc chip cookies
100 cal pak white cheddar popcorn, Light n Fit yogurt
3 oz. potato crusted codfish, 1/2 c. steamed broccoli
protein shake, some cucumber slices
I could've gone w/o the 100 snack paks! Other than that little tiff, things were good today.
April
