Went on a second date...

It's been awhile since I've posted much...I did let ya'll know about 7 months ago that my boyfriend of 11 years and I had broken up and that I was now happily single. Well, I still am...and dating has been a blessing to my self-esteem. Imagine, I am actually being the rejecter in most cases (in a nice way, of course), and have been hit on and pursued by guys that probably never would have given me a second glance 133 pounds ago (this really doesn't bother me...I will admit to some shallowness myself when it comes to the outward looks of the opposite sex). My friends, actually, laugh at me and say that I've been filling more of the "guy" role by not letting myself get too serious about any one person. Well, Friday night I was taken to dinner by a very attractive, well-pulled together man. He was so attractive and pulled together that...lo and behold...I allowed myself to say yes to a second date as soon as last night. We went to the movies (don't go see The Reaping...it sucks) and held hands, and, and...I actually enjoyed myself so much I have agreed to a THIRD date to go dancing this Friday!! Could I really be ready to settle down, even with my new-found "I am a goddess" mantra? lolol...well, I don't know. But I'm kind of excited at the prospect that I might be ready to open my heart again after 11 years of relationship craziness with my ex. Just thought I'd share!! Hope all is well with you guys! OMG That is so awesome, Beth! Stay a little slippery, but if he's as great as you stay, maybe a little sticky glue might help? I so wanna see The Reaping! I am Definately not a scary movie person, but Hilary Swank is one of my fave actresses and I know I'm safe if I go with Tommy, How does it suck? Not as scary?
