BTB DAY #3
Good morning! My day will be as follows:
Early am-1 nectar protein
B-chicken salad no veggies, no carbs
S-cheese
L-chicken salad
D-Chicken grilled.
Exercise probably not. Unfortunately I got my period! Ever since my surgery I have a period every month! Go figure. I get it so bad though without details exercise is a big no no. Why?!! I have been doing so good. I walked 6 miles 3 on Mon and 3 on Tuesday. Keep on doing it ladies you are all doing wonderful!
~Norma~ Day three here we come baby
Hasta later tonight!

Sounds like you had a great day (other than the period!). Norma, you're doing really great!!! You and others on here are my inspiration! Today was good so far...night time hasn't snuck up on me yet
. Through all my craziness with packing my apartment...I went to the gym this morning! 6 a.m.! I was sooo tired due to the 3 hrs. of sleep I got, but I got up and went anyway. I need to keep it up
. Here's what I had:
Pre-Workout- protein shake
B- 1/2 c. eggbeaters, 2 slices bacon, few bites hashbrowns, 1/2 biscuit..needed the carbs after my workout!
L- steak and blue cheese salad from Quizno's...soooooo good!
S- 7 globe grapes
D- dunno yet
Exercise: 1 hr. BodyCombat in a hot ass gym
Hail to those that have the willpower to do the PB diet
! Don't know how you do it. I need carbs too much
. Not as many as I eat
, but I need 'em. I get nasty dizzy if I haven't had carbs for the day...it surely isn't fun. Especially days I workout...I've actually passed out before! THAT surely wasn't fun either. But I really look up to you all! Even the ones that aren't on the PB diet...I look up to you!
April

April, as much as you exercise, you should eat whatever you want. IF i wasn't as lazy as I am, I wouldn't be so afraid to eat carbs. I look up to you for having the motivation to get up and exercise. My cousin had wls 4 years ago and she eats so "normal" and whatever she wants because she is in the gym everyday and runs at night. She is doing good at maintaining her weight. Exercise does make a big difference in weight loss.
The PB diet gives me bad headaches. It really works but I cant take the headaches. I'm cutting carbs but not totally.

Quick update. I will go to the gym tonight. I need all the exercise I can get! I will just grin & bear it. Here is to day 4. You know the funny thing is that I am actually starting to feel better than I have been lately. Those carbs are like poison to me. I don't know if I told anyone on the board but before my surgery I was told I had PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). For those of you who are unfamiliar with this here is a little of what it is:
What are the symptoms of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)?
These are some of the symptoms of PCOS:
infrequent menstrual periods, no menstrual periods, and/or irregular bleeding
infertility or inability to get pregnant because of not ovulating
increased growth of hair on the face, chest, stomach, back, thumbs, or toes
acne, oily skin, or dandruff
pelvic pain
weight gain or obesity, usually carrying extra weight around the waist
type 2 diabetes
high cholesterol
high blood pressure
male-pattern baldness or thinning hair
patches of thickened and dark brown or black skin on the neck, arms, breasts, or thighs
skin tags, or tiny excess flaps of skin in the armpits or neck area
sleep apnea excessive snoring and breathing stops at times while asleep
Isn't this a beautiful thing not
Anyways this is why I have to keep the carbs away. Even though I have had WLS I still have the tendency to not lose weight easily. I know how sad is that! So I will not be one to regret that I was given a tool to lose weight and did not use it to my full advantage! Keep up the good work ladies and thanks for being my support and my rock. You are all the best! Love you ladies!!
