thanks for the well wishes

I would like to thank everyone for all the wellwishes. I just got out of the hospital on Friday. I was admitted on Tuesday for chest discomfort. I was given a stress test and it came out abnormal. Thank the Lord after the angioplasty everything was good and my parents were told that my heart is very healthy. I do have pneumonia and was given six bags of antibiotics while I was in the hospital. I am still taking them and will be going back for my follow up this week. The Dr's all seem to think that I was overloaded with stress due to my daughters situation and just sort of had a complete meltdown. I think I will ask him if I could benefit from going on some anti anxiety medication to get me through this rough and difficult time before my baby goes into the maternity home. Thanks for your thoughts. My daughter was accepted to the maternity home and will be going in the week after Easter. lam having a very hard time with this, but in my heart I know that this needs to be done and in the long run will benefit everyone but most importantly it will be the best thing for Ashley. But I will miss her so much and cannot stop crying. One thing that will be good is she will be made to get up at an early time everyday. Right now she sleeps all day long and is in bed. At the place where she is going they make it mandatory that they be at the table every single morning at 9:00 am. Also they make them go to the YMCA two days a week and church every single Sunday. I know the good Lord is opening this door for her and will make her grow up and teach her lots of things that I simply cannot do. Take Care Denise

Denise, I am so sorry you are going through this. I hope things get better for you and your daughter comes to a decision that works for her. Raising teenagers is hard with two parents, I can't imagine how hard it is with just one parent. Good luck and keep us posted... Hugs Chris
