I did it I met with a plastic surgeon.....His name is Joshua Korman, M.D. he performs surgery out of Mountain View in California. He made me feel so comfortable. That I wanted it done right there and then. After being so nervous about having body pictures taken he didn't take any. Not until right before you go in for surgery. The office visit was free. He suggested that I have a abdominoplasty extended. To reduce and remove of excess skin and fat from my abdomen (BELLY) and flanks and tightening of my abdominal muscles. I was surprise about the cost actually for California the price is not bad. For his fees and anesthesia total came to $13,200.00. Plus a separate bill for a overnight stay at a surgery hospital which would be $850.00 a night he suggests one night over stay. I want to do this but now I need to plan the time off from work. I hate the idea that I am paying for 2 insurances and neither picks up anything. I was wondering if anyone has heard about any type of payment out there. I don't have space on my credit cards. Getting closer to that flat tummy...... .Suzan

I am so happy to hear that Suzan! I think I will make an appt. with him as well. Thanks for sharing all of this. I can't believe they didn't take any pictures but if they wait until surgery time, that makes sense. I am excited for you! BTW thanks for getting together the other night for dinner. That was really nice and it was a pleasure meeting you. Karen S.

You can finance plastic surgery, just go to your bank and apply for a loan. You may also look into getting a home equity loan if you own your home, then the interest is tax deductible. God Bless! Jen

There are some medical cost loan companies out there...just search the internet or ask the PS. Mine had several options for people that needed it. Credit unions and banks will also help w/ loans. Care Credit is one company, Capital ONe has a medical loan program, and I can't remember the other ones off the top of my head. Karla

There is a hospital in Montreal that all the stars go to for PS. It is one of the best in the world and the cheapest! About $6000 for most surgery's. That is Canadian, which is less if in US dollars. I am going to check into it when I start working again, that is if we aren't working for minimum wage, ugh hate the new career things. Anyway, just thought I would say something about it. I can't remember the name of the hospital right now, was still sort of out of it when I heard about it, but my Mom knows.

Guess What I found a company that will finance the surgery. care credit and they give you a list of doctors to choose from. And it is a little cheaper. I have to come up with half $4,000 and the balance will be 4298.00 financed for 24 months if I go with them. So there are choices out there....Thank You for all your support. Karen... It was fun getting together with you and meeting you. Lets plan something next month..... Hugs Suzan
