Update on my son

My son got to come home from the hospital only to be rehospitalized. He is home now. He saw an allergist and is now on an EPI pen in case of an emergency situasion. He had to have EPI yesterday because his throat swelled. I am so sick and my body is exhausted. My body just doesn't want to give anymore. Gerry is still having problems with the rash back again so I just don't know what the next step is going to be. He has a long road ahead of him with school (catching up and completing this year), learning to watch for signs of the rash (and to put meds under his tongue) and signs of using the EPI pen. The next few months are the crucial ones as we try to get him over the threshold his body and system is at now. Once we get past the few months the further out we get from him having another attack the better off he will be in the long run. Please pray for our family. As we deal with my illness and what needs to happen for my health - and deal with my sons allergic reactions (what we still do not know) in the months to come. Being a mother and being ill is the hardest thing I have ever had to overcome. I can't even begin to explain it to you all. I love you all and miss being on the boards Hugs, Julie
