Upcoming Thusday I meet with a plactic surgeon from Stanford Hospital

I am a little nervous everyone tells me they make you strip down to nothing and they take pictures. Is that true. I already know both my insurance companies don't cover the cost of the surgery. RATS.......I can't wait to hear what he recommends for me. Suzan

OMG! They sure do. They make you strip entirely! Then they take pictures! I suggest you suck it up and just think it is for the better. I did on 2/22/07 and it is not fun. They also download them to a pc and show other patients. I had to sign a consent. They don't show your face though. Just think, this too will pass Good Luck ~Norma~

Yep down to nothing.....but you know before you have the surgery you feel so much different then when they take the after pictures, its kinda like you stand up straighter and hold your head up higher...... Just think of the results....... HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND TORI

Yes Suzan, they make you take those pics! It is pretty humiliating, but more the thought of it than once you disrobe and start taking them. Insurance doesn't usually cover the surgery on arms, boobs, or thighs. At times will cover tummy tuck or panni removal if you have lower back pain and dr. treated intertrigo. I am going to a chiropractor for my back , but haven't had rashes, etc. much. I'm not counting on insurance to pay any, but will be a bonus if they do. Good luck! Karla
