Kay, I am so sorry you have this hurt right now. You must know that her ignorant words were an attempt to lessen her guilt, and you should not take what she says to heart. You have so much to be proud of, and you continue to reach for YOUR goal...not what anyone else thinks. You had this surgery for you, and don't let her words make you doubt yourself. I am proud of you for having the guts to leave, that must have been a really difficult decision, but you are amazingly strong, and if anyone can do it. it's you! Oh Kay...sorry you're having to go through this. I know how hurtful that has to be. You're a strong woman...it'll take some time to heal. Be glad you have a loving family to go to. I'm sure your parents and daughter enjoy you being there with them. She just said that about your weight to hurt you and "push your buttons"; she knew what to say to go for the jugular vein. Keep on exercising, eating your protein, and taking your vitamins. A lot of us depend on you to keep us on track, but we're here for you too, girl. I am sure that is not what you want to hear when you are in so much pain. Just know that God will carry you on his shoulders when you need him most. Girl...my arms are stretching from California to South Carolina!! Don't let someone determine your future, you are a beautiful person, you are just now healthier. We often wonder why these things happen to us, that somehow God is trying to get our attention...often it hurts when it does, but there is some purpose for this, and eventually you'll know what it is. Never look back, look forward because we have to move forward with our lives, and those that are not with us, are just dragging us down. Stay with those that believe in you, that share your successes and push you to do your best...these are the folks that make life worth living!!!
