Pics of Jen, Grace, and me

Hopefully these links will work. I have tried several times to upload these pics to my photo album on this site, and the "upload" button won't work. Jen and I got to visit at a baby shower yesterday for a fellow Texas OH message boarder. Jen looks wonderful and is glowing. Grace has grown a lot since I saw her in August. She's a little cutie. She and Grace had on matching outfits. The group picture was the one I looked worst in, but most people looked better in it. Jen is in front, I was on the back row. I really enjoyed getting to meet some of the other Texas members face to face. Thanks, Chris. It is a lot of fun meeting others who had WLS. I had already met Jen, Ronna, and Valerie Smith. I also met Tanya, another TX board member last week when I visited her in the hospital in Houston. It was great to get to meet the others yesterday. When I got there, one girl is in my surgeon's support group and I had sat near her and talked to her last week at our meeting, but she doesn't have an avatar, so I didn't realize she was also posting on the TX board. The Texas board is a super close group of people that really support each other. The bulk of people are from the Houston area or Dallas area. They keep talking about us meeting each other halfway sometime so everyone can meet. One of the ladies at the shower was from Dallas, but was in Houston area visiting for spring break, so she came to meet everyone. Karla

Thanks for posting the pictures! That was a nice shower, I wish I could have made it sooner. Well, better late than never. I have to agree that Gracie is a cutie! Not that I am a proud mama or anything! - My teeth look really yellow! I may have to have them whitened! God Bless! Jen
