Please read my profile to see what has been going on with me. It is important to all of us to read. I am home for awhile now, as you will see the reason in the post. Not sure about touring again. Will see after talking to the surgeon this next week. Hope everyone is well.

Oh, Kristi....I'm so sorry you had to go through this! I'm sure it was horrible and very, very scary. Unfortunately, things like this can certainly happen, and not just to WLS patients either. I'm a surgical/shock trauma nurse and I've seen people come in like this quite a few times. And you certainly had symptoms...they just weren't overt and so obvious. That what makes it so scary! I'm so glad you're doing better now. Make sure you get some :rest:, make sure you get your fluids in as well. Keep us updated! April

I was wondering where you were? How frightening. Hopefully you can see your surgeon soon and make sure that all is OK. But you are right, we all have to be watchful and not Poo poo it when something doesn't feel right. Take good care. Sending hugs, Ronna

Kristi...what a terrible experience to have had. I'm glad you're okay now. That's really scary to think you don't really feel so bad and can be that bad off. I hope you continue to heal and feel good. Maybe you're surgeon can give you some insight into why it happened. Hang in there. Karla

Gosh, Kristi: I am sorry about what happened. I am still 100% happy that I had this WLS, but with my recent twisted bowel...and now hearing this about you...it does make me a little nervous.
