Thank you so much, Ronna..I feel like Ive been born again! Everytime I stand up..or simply stand..or walk more than five steps, I am in awe of the ramifications of my desperation and the decision I made in hopes of being healthy one day. *hugs*

Hi Nancy, Congratulations on your new beginnings. 120 pounds is a great weightloss! Yes this surgery is like a miracle in some ways. Standing for four hours would have been something we couldn't have done before the surgery so enjoy your new found freedom to live! Karen S.

Thank you very much, Karen..everyday seems like a miracle to me..standing up off the bed..walking w/o limping and hurtng...Its SO different from this time last year...IM cnstantly comparing how it was LAST YEAR...lol. And though my weightloss seemed very slow to me....being older and with a poor metabolism to start with, it still steadily added up and Ive lost a whole normal sized woman!..just imagine 120 /pounds of shortening on the table..how did I ever carry all of that everywhere I went??
