Panniculectomy Scheduled

Ok, ladies here goes....I am scheduled for a panniculectomy on April 30, 2007! I am excited but scared. I asked the surgeon if I had to wait til 18 mo post op and he said no he said you are ready now. All your excess is in your adbominal area. I have so much nasty excess skin it is so bad. My panni hangs to my knees almost If I dare I will post on my profile pics. I will keep you all posted!! I have more details but I am at work so I gotta go! I will post more tonight! Congratulations Norma. I know you're excited to get rid of your excess skin. I have my lower body lift scheduled for June 15. I'll be glad to say so long to my "double bubble" as the plastic surgeon, Dr. LoMonaco called it. My front is pretty bad too. Is your insurance paying for any of your surgery. Mine hasn't been sent in yet, but I'm figuring no. I'm going to a chiropractor next week for some treatments. Hopefully that will help. Best wishes for your surgery. Keep us posted! Good luck to you too! Thanks! You are always so sweet and supportive. As for covering my surgeon want to do an abdominoplasty as well as a panniculectomy but Blue Shield ppo of California will only cover for the Panniculectomy. He wants $6000 upfront for the abdominoplasty. I might do it. ~Norma~
