Today's downside.
My trip to the doctor is a four-five hour drive under the best of cir****tance. It was a nasty day today so we started really early, like 2:30am. It was slick and foggy and nasty. But it was the trip home that was the horror. There were so many accidents and jack-knifed trucks. But the absolute worst was one accident that happened between a semi and a pick-up. When we got there, there was a body bag on the ground with someone in it, they were working on someone in an ambulance and the pick-up was completely burned. I thought I was going to lose it. But what really ticked me off was how many semis and cars and pick-ups flew by us above speed limit right after they passed the accident. Do they have a death wish or are they just stupid?

Isn't it sad that today's world is in such a hurry all the time. And someone's life can end just because someone jumps a light or is in a hurry to go shopping or some other stupid reason. I try to explain it to my daughters who are both driving now....It is really scary. I am glad you made it home safely and sorry you had to witness the body bag and stuff.
