Busy weekend ahead and drama yesterday!
Yesterday morning my dufus son announced at 6:50 that he must have left his baseball glove at the ball field the night before. I could have wrung his neck. Now mind you, in High School, you can't just go get a Wallie World glove. This was a $200 dollar kangaroo leather Mizuno glove. He had bought it with Christmas money last year. I did a lot of loud talking and lecturing. We went to the field, but it wasn't there. I e-mailed his coach and never heard back from him. At lunch, my son came in grinning to my office and said "Stephen found it and put it in his baseball bag for me". I told him he better give Stephen a big hug and kiss for doing that. My son't powerlifting coach was in my office for ARD meetings all day and was standing there and said "I don't know about that"! We were glad the glove drama was over.
Today after work we go to the Jr. High and unload a lot of stuff and set up for preparing and serving breakfast and lunch to 300 or so coaches, parents, and powerlifters from our area. We're trying to get everything ready so in the morning we can be there at 5:30 and get breakfast ready to serve by 7:00 or so when they start weighing in. Believe it or not, the powerlifters have to stay within their weight catagory if at all possible and starve themselves the day before to strip down to the underwear and weigh in, just like us! As soon as they weigh in and get placed in their weight catagories, they tank up on breakfast to have the energy to lift. We're fixing scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, and sausage gravy plus juice and milk for them. At lunch we get BBQ so it's not too bad, but have to run the regular concession stand all day to feed everyone. It'll be a busy Friday evening and Saturday.
Hope everyone has a dramaless weekend and fun one ahead!

Wow, boy drama, I know what that is all about. I have a 14 yr old and 10 yr old, both boys. They can create almost as much drama as girls!!!
We have a busy weekend too...my 14 yr. old's b-day party is this weekend and we will have a house full. Our baseball (little league) practices have started. You want to talk drama, welcome to little league!!!!
