First cruise
My daughter, son in law and grandsons and myself (my hubby doesn't want to go ) are going on a cruise on Feb. 24 to March 3. This is oue first cruise and we are excited and nervous. We will be cruising Grand Caymen Islands., Cozumel Mexico, this is where my grandson will turn 12 on the 28th, and Key West. Have any of you been to any of these places? We would like any hints for first time cruisers.
Have a wonderful evening, Rosemary
Hi Rosemary, are you going out of Florida? I have never been on a cruise but my Mother in law and sister in law just went in December. They said they had a great...great time. When you shop make sure you barter with them.....The food was wonderful, they had to pay extra for the pop and they said they had lots of entertainment...I am sure you will have a great time. My husband and I am going to The dominican on March 3rd for our 20th anniversary (which is June) I am soo excited.
~~hugs and well wishes~~

Hi Rosemary,
I have gone on two cruises and have loved them! One one of them I went to Grand Caymen Islands and Cozumel. In Gand Caymen I didnt do any excursions but in Cozumel I went to the beach which was a lot of fun. It was pre surgery and it cost something like 20$ to get in and it included all the booze. Be careful with your grandson, there is no age limit in Mexico for drinking. They were asking a 10 year old girl if she wanted rum punch!. If anyone wants to ge there hair braided, the price was good and they did a great job at the beach as well.
As for food, I went on one last April and Carnival was very accomodating. Almost every night I would get chicken, which wasnt on the menu. If there is nothing that you feel that would be good for your tummy, don't be shy to ask for something not on the menu.
