I AM UP AN AROUND, TORI
Hey Guys,
I have been sitting up at the counter this morning catching up with everyone sounds like vegas was very cool, sorry I missed it.
My lower body lift went well they removed like 8pds of skin, I am very swollen so its hard to tell however I slipped a pair of my regular panties on and they fit the right way with no big bulge in the middle and no tucking in flaps here and there. I will have pictures soon my Dr said he is going to put me on his website (not my head just body) because he is so pleased with the results, the lines are very even they stiched it all up and used some sort of glue durabond ? the drains are not that bad they are just in the way they don't hurt or anything like that and they are not messy they just drain into little bottles taht have to be emptied twice a day. I am very surprised at my recovery its been 9 days and I feel good ,It hurts when I need another pain pill or I go to far over the 4 to 6 hour range that they work but I can get up and down from my recliner we have a stressless in our sitting room that is connected to the master and it is very comfortable the room has lots of light streaming in and we have lots of trees in the backyard and I have lots of potted plants on my patio which the sitting room looks out onto, it has a set of french doors and windows on all of the other walls very comforting, I have noticed a good thing I m getting comfort from my surroundings, and my clothes I stocked up on Victoria Secret pink sweats and sweatshirts and nice fuzzy socks for my recovery not food, which is a good change. My family and friends have been great bringing dinners and cassaroles for the kids and my poor husband to eat. I feel so sorry for Todd he isn't used to driving two teenagers and a 4 year old all around to there various sports practices, b-day parties, hair and nail appointments etc. And all of the unexpecteds one of the girls was giving the 4 year old a bath and she was texting and guess what the phone ended up in the bathtub, well us moms know they can't go without texting for longer that a 24 hour period so that was an emergency trip to mall to replace the phone. The other night the 4 year old walked into the sitting room and anounced I wet me bed then I heard this louder voice in the bed behind her NO SHE WET OUR BED poor Todd he got a lesson on changing sheets in the middle of the night. I think she has been sleeping in her own bed since then. Its hard for her since I can't rock her when she wakes up in the night.
In a nutshell look into plastics its so much easier then I thought and I have a feeling the result is going to be great, I have my arms and BL/BA in three months he said one night in the hospital and aone week off work and I should be good to go, then I am done everything lse will have to tighten up with excercise.

So happy to see you post and even happier that you are doing well!
I have a long ways to go before I consider plastics, but hearing your story makes me feel a little better about considering it.

we all were worried about you while we were in Vegas. I am glad to hear you are doing better. It was very nice of your daughter topost about you. I too want a full body lift. I wish my kids were still small enough to cuddle! Mine are to big!
As far as the turtle head nickname...I called myself that in every picture because my head falls forward in every pic like a turtle.
