What's going on in your life this week?

I know I have a super busy week ahead of me. Tomorrow I go into Houston for my 1 year post-op check up. I'm not but a few pounds from the weight, 172, that my surgeon said I needed to be at to be considered a wls "success". Since I still have 6 months to go before my "window of wt. loss opportunity" is over, I don't think it will be a problem to get below that. I hopefully will get to my goal of 150 w/o much of a problem. I need to be at that by the end of May to get there before plastic surgery this summer. Next Monday morning I have my PS consult w/ Dr. Lomonaco in Houston. I'm getting excited about that. Hopefully he'll tell me I'll be okay to have it done in June. My son started double sports practices today for 2-3 weeks. He has to be at school for powerlifting practice at 7:00 am everyday. He has baseball practice beginning today until 6:00-6:30 p.m. I have athletic boosters meeting tonight. Tomorrow I go to Houston to the dr. Wednesday night is my wls surgeon's support group meeting in Houston at the medical ctr. Whoo! busy week for me. I'll be happy when Thursday gets here. Hope everyone has their week in check. I had to change up my morning routine and get up earlier in order to be ready by 6:50 to 6:55 to leave the house. Thank heavens we're only 5 minutes or so from the school. Have a great week! Sounds like a busy week for you Karla! My week will consist of LOTS of stress at work. I am going through a very rough time due to some legal issues and my boss being terminated. I am (or was at least) second in the line of fire for our department. Right now, I am living on edge at work. I don't (and probably won't for a while) know where things stand. I have been put in the position to have to take charge and make things work, but not given the actual authority or money. The whole thing is very uncomfortable to say the least, and if I didnt' have 16 years invested, I would be leaving!!! I will be helping my daughter find a new car, as she totalled hers last Wed night. Friday is my 1 yr appt at the Dr., it's about 30 miles away so it will take most of the day. I have to meet with the PA, the surgeon and the nut. Saturday night we are going to a dinner theater with my ex-boss and her husband, (whom by the way was just diagnosed with breast cancer!).I am still friends with her and don't think she should have been fired. She wasn't totally in the right in what happened, but did NOT deserve to be fired, without a warning. It was all about a power struggle on behalf of both sides really. Do I sound a little stressed?..... Leeanne

My week is pretty routine. There are a lot of things that I want to get done, but I have time to do it at my pace. I have my articles to get into the papers today, but they really don't take that long. Frostina he pt (physical therapy) today and Wednesday and Thursday. I am getting to the place that I just take her, get her settled and then leave and go do my thing. I am going to be working at the house during those times. I hope everyone has a wonderful week.
