Okay...who all wants to tell what went in their mouths today. I actually haven't eaten a lot today, but did drink my protein. Slept in until 7:30, then got up, drank liquids while on the computer, went walking and it started raining, so I just got in a mile. Then I went to Lowe's and Walmart and didn't get home until 11:30. I also took a nap this afternoon, did laundry and dishes, and fixed my mailbox, which has been loose. Hope everyone is having a great weekend! on the menu: b: protein coffee l: Russell Stover's SF protein bar & 3/4 c leftover beans/meat/cheese from enchilada's d: 1 c crawfish etoufee and some navy beans (high in carbs, but have to eat some sometime. It is really cold here today and I guess it is going to be for about a week. What is crawfish etoufee? Navy beans my have an abundence of carbs, but they are also good protein. My day consisted of: B~4oz ff milk and coffee L~1/2 c salmon, one boiled egg one roasted veg ritz cracker D~1/2 c salmon and a slice of red onion raw. S~popcorn, airpopped. (Yeah I dug out the old air popper) For exercise I am going to exercise with Richard Simmons Sweatin to the Oldies after while. Fluids~88oz so far. Hazel

Etoufee is a base mix of sauteed onions, bell peppers, etc. and has red pepper for a little spice and other seasonings. It also has rice and then you can add crawfish, shrimp, etc. at the end of cooking. I usually buy a certain brand of mix because it's really good. I'll have to try to find another box and send you one. It's really good. If you don't have access to crawfish, shrimp is just as good. Not really good post wls food, but my son loves it and we can't avoid everything all the time. I didn't eat that much anyway! Karla

We had wls to live not to diet. We all know what we can eat and can't eat. But my nut says that we have to eat things we enjoy occasionally. Hazel

You've done so well. Doesn't a good slice of pizza taste good every once in a while? I had one last week for supper. I usually pile two pieces worth of toppings on 1 slice and then don't eat the just crust part at the edge. My dog loves eating it. Karla

Hi all. The past few days have been HELLACIOUS for me!!! Goodness! I've been working, working, working, and my apartment looks like s@#$. I keep adding more clutter on top of clutter. I get off work Monday morning, so I better get to it later on that day. My apartment should never look like that! Other than that, I went to a friends to celebrate her birthday yesterday and we had a blast! It was so much fun, and I had a chance to catch up with some people I haven't seen in 2 years! Also, today I saw a really good college friend of mine that I hadn't seen in 2 years. Our schedules conflict, and he plays pro football now all the way in California, so it's hard to get up with eachother. It was great seeing him, though. Enough of my rambling, here's what I had today: B- 3/4 c. Special K cereal w/ sliced strawberries and 6 oz. 2% CC milk L- 7 RF Ritz, some crab dip, 1 oz. RF cheese D- scrambled egg w/LF cheese, 3 slices bacon, 1 slice cinnamon toast w/lite butter S- Light n Fit yogurt, few pcs. ham jerky...I finally learned how to eat jerky!!! I need a little bit more protein in my diet, but I ate so much food yesterday during dinner that I'm sure I made up for it! Exercise: none Vitamins: done Fluids: 48 0z. so far...I'll need to pick it up a tad April

Sounds like you've been working too hard April! Glad you got to see friends yesterday. Who is your pro-football friend and which team is he on? I'll see if my sports freak son knows him. Hope you get your apartment clean. I'm saving my big housecleaning day till next Saturday. Yesterday we just picked up a little, did laundry, dishes, etc. Karla
