What was you day of surgery * weight - 306 * pants size - 26/28 * shirt size - 3x or 26/28 * biggest fear - dying on the table * greatest hope - to be healthy and active Then answer the same questions for today * weight - 195 @ 4 months pregnant * pants size - 14 * shirt size - large * biggest fear - regain * greatest hope - to be healthy and active What have you done in this past year that would not have been possible without the surgery? lost 117 pounds, flown on a plane w/o a seatbelt extender, sat comfortably in theater seats, take care of 4 kiddos, OH YEAH - I ALMOST FORGOT - GET PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really did not forget How many people have you told about your surgery? Everyone What are you doing this weekend? taking the kids to a drive through safari. Climbed the hill behind our HS; fit into fashionable, regular sized clothes How many people have you told about your surgery? pretty much everybody What are you doing this weekend? Tonight working in the basketball concession stand from 3:30 until 9:00 (hot diggity!) and tomorrow, cleaning house, walking, laying around, sleeping until really late, like 7:00 or 7:30! Karla

Hey Jen I guess everyone is either in Vegas or out enjoying their Friday. What was you day of surgery * weight .. 388 lbs. * pants size .. 32 * shirt size .. 30/32 * biggest fear .. Not waking up * greatest hope .. complication free surgery Then answer the same questions for today * weight .. 201 * pants size .. 16 * shirt size .. 16/18 * biggest fear .. gaining weight * greatest hope .. maintain at 175 What have you done in this past year that would not have been possible without the surgery? ~Buy clothes anywhere I want. My highest clothes size was a 34! There was only 2 places to buy clothes from. Now I can go to any store I want. Oh and walking!! How many people have you told about your surgery? ~ EVERYONE and ANYONE that ask me how I lost so much weight. What are you doing this weekend? ~ Today I'm staying home and catching up on some work. Tomorrow some friends are coming out of town visiting so we will be out and about all day. Sunday is church, dinner then hanging out with friends before they leave Mon. morning. My day of surgery - Weight: 273 Pant Size: 24 Shirt size: 3X Biggest fear: Regret from missing food Greatest hope: Good health Today- Weight: 142 Pant Size: 10 Shirt size: Small Biggest fear: Regaining and trying to see the 'real' me Greatest hope: Acceptance of 'me' This past year I have gained new 'friendships' which I would not have been possible without the 'surgery' I have told EVERYONE about my surgery. I have not been 'shy'. I have to do those 'errands'..........oil change; grocery shopping; laundry; ironing; working out; watching the Pittsburgh Penguins............ Rose from PA

What was you day of surgery - Jan. 23, 2007 * weight - 245 * pants size- 24 * shirt size- 2XL * biggest fear- Not being there for my boys * greatest hope- To become healthy and happy! Then answer the same questions for today * weight- 157 * pants size- 10 * shirt size- L * biggest fear- Letting my old eating habbits take over! * greatest hope- To stay healthy and happy! What was you day of surgery * weight: 370lbs * pants size: 30/32 * shirt size: 3x or 4x * biggest fear: Dying in my sleep, each semester avoiding small desks at college * greatest hope: One day I'd lose enough weight to be comfortable with life Then answer the same questions for today * weight: 179 * pants size: 14? I wear Levi's Men cause I have no hips: 32/34 waist depending on style * shirt size: Large/XL depending on brand, style * biggest fear: Regaining the weight * greatest hope: Acheiving my goal weight of 130lbs What have you done in this past year that would not have been possible without the surgery? Walk across campus without having to take breaks along the way because I was out of breath. Working out at the gym for 2.5hrs cause there's so many cute guys...ha ha. Fitting into those small desks with room to boot. Being able to sit in a seat and not take up the other person's space (noticed this at the Aerosmith concert). I could go on forever...but I think you got the picture How many people have you told about your surgery? Anyone that is interested in knowing how I lost so much weight. I am proud of my decision and I let it show. What are you doing this weekend? For my 1yr Surgiversary, going out with a friend to the mall, then heading to Outback Restuarant...which was good by the way, and I brought 98% of it back....yum-o for the next day or two. I realy have not been on OH in awhile but hae been lurkin lately,So I figured I would jump in here and maybe get back in the loop. Day of Surgery: Jan 5th,2006 weight-357 pants size-38 shirt size-4x biggest fear -I would die from my weight related problems greatest hope- I would make it thru the surgery Today weight-227lbs pants size-12/13 shirt size-LG 14/16 biggest fear- I wont get rid of the extra saggy skin greatest hope - I will make my goal in the next 6 months 180lbs--37 lbs to go What have I done in the last year I would not have done that would not have been possible with out this surgery--I got a real job again,left my alcholic husband,joined Curves and just have fun in life all the time. How many people have I have I told-Everyone What am I doing this weekend--relaxing from the last week of overtime

Hi all, Sorry I've not been by for a while. RL sucks right now. But I'll play: What was your day of surgery * weight 280 * pants size 26/28 * shirt size 3x * biggest fear WLS Failure * greatest hope being healthy for my kids Then answer the same questions for today * weight 171 * pants size 14 * shirt size M * biggest fear my inability to accept "the new me" * greatest hope The diagnosis of PBC is wrong and I'm healthy What have you done in this past year that would not have been possible without the surgery? Made my family keep up with me on vacation instead of having them slow down for me. How many people have you told about your surgery? Most everyone. It's not a secret. What are you doing this weekend? Worked on Sat. then took the kids shopping to spend holiday gift cards. Sunday, I did 5 loads of laundry and vegged in front of the TV. RobinNJ
