Influenza abounds.

We have an influenza epidemic here in Central City and surrounding area. The health department shut Cental City down on Sunday and Monday. No public places or businesses were open. Schools have been closed all week. My granddaughter came home sick on Monday and this morning Frostina didn't feel well, and now I am getting sick. Wouldn't you know it the flu shot didn't cover this flu. Has there been any out breaks of flu where you live? Hazel

You mean the real flu, not the one that has you throwing up? I hadn't heard the flu shot didn't cover any this year, I heard that it covered all of them. Hope it stays away from me. Hope you feel better.

Ours hasn't been bad around here yet. I got a flu shot in the fall, hopefully won't get anything. I hope ya'll get to feeling better! Karla 337/179/150

I hear ya Hazel!!! The hospital is upside down with the sickies!! Most of them elderly or really young with the flu, I am surprised there hasnt been a shut down here due to it.
