Hair problems, and hints
Hi all, do any of you have any hints for lifeless ugly hair? My hair was always my best feature, now it is lifeless and drab. I do have new hair coming in, but it is stubborn and fly away. My hair was really think, and has thinned but really isn't too thin, just ugly and the whole texture is different and no body in it at all. I will really welcome any suggesions from anyone. Are any of you having the same problems?
Thanks and have a wonderful day, Rosemary
I am having hair issues, too. I have naturally curly hair... and it has thinned ALOT! I probably have about 1/2 the hair I had before. I have been taking viatmins from GNC for hair (UltraNourish Hair) but only for about a month, so I am not sure its working yet, I will give it a couple more months... I think I am getting some back, but it is very unruly as far as curly hair goes...
I have been using products for curly hair... Pantene &/or Herbal Essence... Shampoo & Conditioner and styling mousse. I have been having pretty good luck with this combination. It only lasts the day, but it gives me the "life" and mock-fullness that I was hoping for.
I don't know what kinds of products you've tried, but try some different things... even if you have straight hair... try something for curly hair, it might give you some fullness and lustre you are looking for.
Hairloss was one of my dreads. Everytime I run my fingers through my hair I just about want to cry, because of the lack of volume and the few strands that tangle up in my fingers and remind me that it is not over yet. I have not had any other health problems associated with the surgery, but this is the slowest to heal and fix... I watch my intake of protien and vitamins, I don't know what else to do... other than pray that it is only temporary and pray that I will have my beautiful curls again, some day....
Best wishes... let me know if you find anything that works for you... I am game to try just about anything.
Rosemary,
I too used to feel my hair was one of my best features. I have lost a LOT of hair and too feel that what I do have is dull and lifeless. I have experimented with different shampoos and conditioners and some of them help. I think that as long as we are getting in the protein, water and vitamins we need it will be back sooner or later!

I noticed my hair was going through a funk that past couple of months. I've thinned out quite a bit and was starting to get worried since my hair was my best feature that I loved, and now that was about to go slowly. I decided to go to Sally's, and I bought this shampoo called ION, it's got alot of protein in it and it's for volume; it works great thus far. I also use a conditioner made by Bath and Body, it's their aromatherapy selection Spearmint and Eucalyptus with protein, smells great and conditions as well. The combination has been great, my hair is fuller and I am noticing I am not seeing as much hair come out. I'm happy with both product so far.
